Needs to stop going out on the piss and getting barred from nightclubs for being a twat for a start

Doesn’t scream “driven professional” to me.

Great player though. Maybe that twattish arrogance helps him as a player, Neymar hasn’t done too badly with it.
He seems very level-headed in his interviews. It could be media training, him putting on a fake face, but it's funny how many people call him a twat without ever meeting him

He's a young rich footballer, he's set for life, his family is set for life, can anyone on this forum say they wouldn't be a little bit arrogant if in his position ?

From the stories posted, he doesn't sound a "little bit arrogant"

He seems the type of person who'd look down on people worse off than him even if he weren't a footballer.

Yeah absolutely, no need to behave like that.

But I'll give benefit where it's due - he's 19 and deffo not mature yet, could become a great guy later on, could be just a bit misunderstood / having a laugh at the min.

I want arrogant players. Players that think they are the best.

We have too many nice guys. We need more characters, more bad asses.

He's 22, not 19.

Got shades of Kevin about him I think. The speed of his game is top notch, and he’s a player who will constantly create chances.

Why do you keep referring to de Bruyne by his first name?

he was poor for most of the game but when he came to life he was superb, just annoys me we keep playing him left wing, it just doesn't work

Clearly very talented but not a great game from him. Took to long to play the final pass throughout.

I thought he was below average, kept ignoring Vardy's runs, and there were a fair few of them that were in good position where a simple pass could have opened Chelsea up. This was also with Chelsea leaving a lot of space at times.

Was great in the second half, seemed intent on making the difference. Some of the moments he retained the ball in were top class. He sometimes took the wrong decision but his ability seemed to change the direction of the tie.

He's a good player but I don't get the fuss. I would be fuming if we spent £80m on him.

You have to think that by the time he’s 24 he’d have ironed a lot of that out. He’s already a very good player and seems to have a real hunger for the game. If he makes the right next move, he could become a really top player I think. He reminds me so much of KDB in that he has that instinct to directly threaten the opponents goal with the least amount of touches. Kev always takes the shortest route to a goalscoring chance, which is his best asset to me. He’s trying to hurt you with his first or second touch typically. Maddison has some traits, and he has the quality on his delivery to go with it. By 24 he’ll be a real player I think.

A better player would have finished the game 4-1 to Leicester. Obviously that one miss was poor but there were a few key passes he missed with Vardys off ball running.

He’s got great ball control and a cool technique on the pass but seems to missing that little bit of genius and functionality
