Just now with a brilliant run to earn them a pen. Which Morata misses or rather GK saves.

Not sure that was a pen - good save anyway.

But that run by Joao Felix...

Irrespective of who Atleti might buy, they'll just never play any entertaining football under Simeone. Yet another snoozefest.

Getafe are a hard team to play against in fairness. I'll give them a pass for this game as from what I saw they were pushing the full backs way past the halfway line (main strength of Trippier who had a good game) and then the reds changed things. Then it was a typical close out the 1-0 job.

Having Trippier definitely helps them push forward down the wings and he'll put in good crosses but, Felix aside, I still can't see how exciting this team will be going forward. Lemar never seems to impress and there just doesn't seem to be enough creativity for them to play fun, exciting football. I'll give it more games but I don't expect much to change at Atleti. I'm expecting another season of defensively solid and a bit underwhelming football.

I’d be curious to see what the lineup would look like if they had have bought Rodrigo. It’s crazy how much they’ve spent this summer.
They did sell, Griezmann, Hernandez and Rodri for €270m odd as well though.

Not sure how long Costa is banned for, their front line looks very solid with him back.

PSG reject Barça´s second offer for Neymar.
It was a loan with mandatory purchase option to be paid in two years

Makes a lot of sense. He deserves better than rotating with Courtois and PSG definitely need a top goalkeeper

Well 2 months ago there were still Buffon, Areola and Trapp under contract at PSG.
Buffon had already left and Trapp while technically still theirs was always going to stay in germany

Hence why PSG have been looking at a goalkeeper the whole summer

Just my opinion but Areola is the main problem at PSG.

But i agree with your opinion "Why the feck did he wait until now to decide he wants out?".....no top club are looking currently for a No.1 unless it's really PSG.

Problem is he spent the whole summer saying he wanted to stay, to the point he essentially made us plan for the season with him on the team

And now he changes his mind, 2 weeks before the window closes and with us now needing to find a replacement? The sheer stupidity...

It was a fairly horrible match. Both teams lost the ball for fun and there was little plan, coherence or control. Sevilla's defence is solid and something to build on. Ocampos showed his quality in a few situations and was the only player, who managed to create anything from open play. Overall that looked more like two relegation candidates playing each other. Still, 6 points are 6 points.

Levante is a mess and Villarreal are relentless. I've got 3 minutes of highlights edited of goal+chances from Villarreal after 30 minutes (highlights for a half are usually about 2-2:30). Villarreal's front 3 looking very dangerous, wide open spaces for Ekambi and Chuk to run into and utilize. Little help for the Levante full backs, especially with Moreno playing high up as well.

What kind of VAR decision is that? Very, very harsh to call that a foul in the first place but that's not the bizarre thing. Levante had already made 2 substitutions at two separate occasions between the "foul" and the VAR call!

Omg. Keeper saves the penalty and then also saves the rebound but then a few moments later he gets carded and penalty retaken because he stepped off the line! Not a big step either, barely in front of the line unlike Adrian in the Super Cup.

Levante score from the 2nd penalty but the keeper had his hands on the ball. Honestly this was a ridiculous usage of VAR.

Levante now get a free kick just outside the box because Cazorla took the ball legally. Honestly thoughts go towards the ref being on the take watching this but it's probably more likely Hanlon's razor.

Another penalty

2-1 Levante. What a farce of a football match. Total domination in the first half, only 1-0 to Villarreal who looked like they were going to suffocate Levante with attackers but it's been turned around. Football, bloody hell.

Isco and James in plus Bale. Fair to say this lineup didn't seem probable month or two ago!

:lol: at the BeIn US coverage from Miami, it's pure comedy and Ray Hudson on commentary.

Real look good, just need to find the finish. Bit slow in attack, maybe need move the ball faster.

We are too predictable. James fine, but I don't know if it´s what Zidane needs. Please, Vini and Jovic
