I guess Honduras, not sure how good they are but probably not stellar, didn't really make an effort and/or they gave up and stopped giving a toss. I mean, Håland is good, but come on.

Wouldn’t mind a punt at the lad, he makes clever runs, and is strong and decisive. Also has plenty of time to grow and add strings to his bow.

Hard to know where to rate that. Honduras are clearly useless (lost 5-0 to the mighty New Zealand for example), were eliminated before the game took place, made changes to their line up, had two players sent off and the game is/was being investigated for match-fixing.

Last summer he scored four goals in 20 minutes against the best defense in the norwegian league, at 17. So he has shown that he can completly dominate a single game earlier as well. The question will be how consistent he can become, and how high a level he can perform at. In games where things don't go the right way for him, he can completly disappear.

Makes no sense for Haaland to move now. First of all he has to show himself worthy of a place in a mid rank European team.

Stay at Salzburg for 1-2 seasons. Go to Spain for a ball dominant team and improve his technical ability for 2 seasons, then we will know how good he is.
I reckon he's destined to go to Leipzig in either of the next two summer windows.

Hat-trick today - which takes his goal tally to 7 (+1 assist) in 4 matches for Red Bull Salzburg this year. He will be a very good piece of business for the austrians - there will be a big auction for him in 12-24 months.

Or he’ll go to Leipzig for a modest fee

Solskjaer will just tap him up in the next transfer window and bring him in for a modest fee

Do Salzburg actually get the money that Leipzig use to buy their players? That situation seems so dodgy.

2 more goals for Haaland today - meaning 9 goals in 5 matches. This guy is seriously scary!

It’s time to take this guy serious! Those of you who watch him regularly. What’s his level? Similarities.

He can go all the way - he is that good. But it's hard to find a player to compare him to. He is quick for his size, built like a bulldozer and is extremely lethal when he gets a chance. Would love to see United pick up this guy in a year or so

We already have a centre forward project same age as him so I doubt we’d show any interest.

He’s a one man destruction derby. The guy is massive, skilful and deadly. He’s like Harry Kane (a traditional Striker) but with more pace and physical presence.

check out his hat trick vs Wolfsburg.

Seen him playing for Molde last season when they played my local team Hibs in the Europa League.

He was absolutely sensational. For someone so young, he looks such a proper talent. Definitely one to keep an eye on and monitor how he progresses.

Hard to tell buy the league he plays in. The Austrian Bundesliga is really really crap compares to the top 5 leagues.

Hopefully we'll see more of him i Europe

Had a look at his wiki and it says...

Safe to say that rules us out of a future move then
Haaland is a lot faster than Lukaku and he works hard defensively. He also is a LOT better technically. He can do things on his own, but is also a teamplayer. He has the goalgetter coolness and an extremely strong mentality.
So I wouldn't say that. Solskjaer wanted him to Molde, got him there and still have contact with the lad.

You just have to see when he is in beast mode. And he just turned 19. Would have loved to see him, Rashy and Mbappe on the top for United in a couple of years, sweet jesus.

Exiting times as a Noggie now, the central line for the future seems clear with Ajer - Odegaard/Berge - Haaland.

If Haaland is not injured badly then I have no doubt he will end up as a striker in one of the best clubs in Europe.
I hope that is United.

United should be after him next year. Sign him, send him back for an other year and 2021 he will be ready. Erling is a modern version of Lukaku. He is fast, can handle the ball, clinical in front of the goal. Pressing and defending are part of his game. He is physical and passes the ball well enough to assist two goals in 4 matches.

I think that depends on how Greenwood, Martial, or Rashford develops. If one them break out then I can see us strengthening other positions first.

Haland will be expensive, if United waits too long. Buy him "cheap" and give him time. If he does not fit in 2 years, or is not good enough, sell him, it should be easy.

This confused me. I knew he had joined Salzburg, but when you said Wolfsburg I thought for a minute he had actually signed with Leipzig. There's a team called Wolfsberger in the Austrian Bundesliga
