Shaw was awful today in my opinion. Got destroyed on the left time after time, didn't offer anything going forward.
Subs were too late. Greenwood should have come on after 60 minutes for James.
I'm so fed up with us not winning these type of games.
Disagree. James got better and better as the game went on and was our best player in the second half. McTominay on the other hand had a shocker.

Game of two halve . First half was great but we needed a seconds goal . Second half they pushed up more and we seemed confused in our approach. Instead of playing our possession way like the first half we should have gone full counter like last week. We needed the subs much earlier too.

The was a winnable game

Worrying second half. Lost it for about 15 minutes. Very good in the first without creating much though.

Lingard was poor. Mctominah was poor in the second half. Pogba then trying stupid things in dangerous positions. We did not control the game in MF early in the second half.

Dan James looked decent in the second half. End product needs to be better though.

Rashford should be taking those penalties.

We didn't lose to them so it's an improvement. Gomes should be on the bench next time instead of Mata. Greenwood is not ready yet.

Annoying to drop points when we played quite well, however that's a big point on the road to a genuine league rival.

Starting to see SO many positives from this United team, Maddison and Sancho next summer please.

We were not great in the 2nd half but if we were our normal clinical selves, we win this. Bloody Wolves have a curse on us.

2 points dropped. 1st half play was good, but lacking some quality. There needs to be a designated penalty taker and I don't think it should be Pogba.

Too many bullshit mistakes from players that should be much better. Subs way too late. Do we have a plan B?

Such an excellent first half, without creating a lot.

Disappointing to let them into that, but it took one hell of a strike. Shame VAR didn't rule it out, would have been great to see Neves's nearly "off his face" erm face, back to normality.

Big worry is the sheer lack of options to spice the attack up. Who would have envisaged that!

If we start James, then we basically have Greenwood as the attack on the bench.

With pretty much no creativity from both Lingard and McTominay (not his first responsibility tbf) we are toothless in possession, who would've thought.

Wolves has some incredible luck against us though.

Fair result, much better than the last performances against Wolves.

Wolves are a good side. We played well bar that 15min stretch after halftime. Unlucky not to win but am happy with what I saw there.

Lack of attacking depth cost us - there’s no one on that bench that I wanted on the field at 1-1.

Unlucky not to win. Thought we were much the better team but undone by a wonder strike.

Wolves had a good 10 minute spell at the start of the half and then weren't much cop afterwards.

All in all, 1-1 is a good result to take forwards and if you asked me before the start of the season that we'd get 4 from the first 6, I'd have bitten your hands off for it.

Red Card for Casemiro!
Lingard missed some crucial chances. When we had to build out from the back, he was far up the field. When we had to attack, he just made blind runs past a bunch of Wolves players. Pogba was good except for that missed penalty. He really should be having the freedom to go further up the field more often to make those runs.

For them, Neves scored a stunner.

Tale of two midfields, really. We were better in all other departments, but it was negated by the fact that we did not strengthen the midfield in summer. If we had someone like Eriksen instead of Lingard in the hole, we'd have been comfortably through much earlier.

Reality check. 2 good pieces of play in attack, 1st the goal and 2nd the Pogba penalty win.

Wolves came closer to scoring 2 goals than we did, with the header off the inside of the post being a whisker away and the Neves finish. Lots of investment in the defense this summer but thats 2 games in a row where we've been lucky to get away without conceding 2 goals in each. Defending is a team responsibility, not just the CBs. But the CBs have less protection without Ander in front of them.

Maguire was probably still the best of the defense today but had his moments too, gave away the freekick that led to hitting the post for example.
I'm sorry but we were solid tonight. That's just nonsense. Wolves were toothless and got a point from what will be one of the goals of the season.

Well that second half was disappointing. We missed the penalty and then created basically nothing else. Shit.

1. Jon Moss is a fat incompetent prick. As are his gang of linesmen/women.
2. Pogba should never touch a penalty again, unless Rashford and Martial are not on the pitch.
3. Dan James is far too green to be starting a game.
4. Lingard is shit.
5. Harry Maguire and Lindelof have brought great stability to our team.
6. We were undone by a random worldie strike. We win that game comfortably 9/10 times.
7. Second half performances must improve.
8. What is the point of bringing Greenwood on with two minutes to go?
9. Wolves fans are wankers.
10. Jon Moss is a rotund bastard and should not be refereeing games at the top level.
Tell me about it

Hopeful first half. Decent workrate, we had the game under control though we should have scored at least another. But wtf happened the second half? It can't be just Traore. Complacency, lacklusterness. Lingard utter shite, haven't seen him except for his misses. Pogba: Big mouth about needing a new challenge: didn't show up again. Sure a couple of decent moves and got us the pen, which he fecks up himself, but it's not enough. If you want to be the star and leader then lead the fecking team. Maguire in control.

Outside of the 5 minute spell that led to their goal they didn’t belong on the pitch with. Inferior side scraping a result, it happens. Lingard has no business starting games regularly for Manchester United. Industry and finding space DO NOT CUT IT for a club with top 4 aspirations when the quality on the ball is at a substandard level.

Bottom line, okay result in top 6 toughest fixtures of the season against a team that matches up against ours well. Absolutely dominated first half to a degree we haven't seen in a while. Take away a peno miss and an incredible goal and we win the game. Rashford created chances from the left... great game from him.

Bad points, don't look too handy in possession, team is so young that our heads just went.

Specific player wise, hard to be too harsh. Personally don't think lindelof looks as assured this year, still don't think Pogba is anywhere near good enough to support a midfield 2 with McTom, our right hand side looked very raw. Martial had great moments I thought and worked hard.

Things I'm not too worried about - not starting with an 18 year old in 10 when we totally controlled the first half and made Neves look muck, substitutions (we have nothing on the bench and we won't all season).

Things I'm worried about... we have absolutely no options bar play Fred in a 3...

Ole said in his pre-match interview we'd need to be clinical and take our chances. Air-shot from Linggard in front of goal, unlucky that Martial trod on the ball just before half time, could easily have gone in 3-0 up. Neves hit a beauty then pogba fails to put away a pen. And Moss. Shame - we should really have the 3 points

Just to add to my previous post I do think Ole subs were poor tonight, Rashford and James on the break are much better than Mata and Pereira!

Gutted. Definitely 2 points dropped. Should have won that. Good recovery though, cos we would have lost that last season. But for goodness sakes the team need to have a designated penalty taker. Enough of these discussions when a penalty comes. Only acceptable if someone's on a hat trick. All in all, reasonably good performance. Take it out on Palace Saturday lads...

Extremely frustrating.

Yes a point is not terrible, but we really should of won that.

And whilst Pogba's penalty wasn't actually that bad, I just don't want to see him take any more.

Silly ineffective substitutions by Ole too.

To me it feels like 2 points lost rather than 1 point gained.

Oh well. Not a bad result, but disappointing considering we played okay and the penalty miss. An improvement over last year against Wolves away though.

First half was clearly better than the second and I thought we were comfortably in control at that point. Had a shaky few minutes at the start of the second which ultimately ended in a goal (what a strike btw). I thought we got better after that again but never reached the heights of the first half.

The penalty situation is annoying. Not sure why Rashford is giving up on that so easily. Didn't even give an argument by the looks of what I saw on TV. Ultimately that's what will be talked about in this game as he missed as its cost us all three points.

Was disappointed in McTominay today. Thought he was unusually sloppy. Maguire not as composed as he was last week. And I didn't think James offered much either. Ole seemed to wait quite long to make subs which was an odd move.

If only we can get some midfield players who can give weighted passes proper and accurate, it would have made the difference. So many times, we had good chance to create something, but it kept breaking down due to inaccurate short passes.

2 points lost. But better than losing. We go again next week.

Can wolves just feck off already?
This

Also what kind of incredible like they also have against us. Not only are they hard to break down but they also have that luck against us, be it ridiculous screamer or us not putting away our chances when we get them.

2 points dropped. Very frustrating to draw when United controlled most of that match, changing the penalty taker from last week was real amateur stuff.

Anyway 4 points from Wolves away and Chelsea at home is a decent return. Palace up next to bounce back with a win and on paper thats a game United need to be winning by a bit to spare.

This won't be the last time we see Martial and Lingard miss good chances this season but hopefully it will be the last time Pogba misses a penalty. He should not take any more!

Performance deserved a better result, bar the 15 minutes after the break. But lots of positives in a really tough game. That first half was great, and we'll learn and improve.

After 2 very tricky opening games, it's hard to complain too much with how it's gone so far.

A concern is depth. Unless Mason steps up massively, it's hard to see how our bench will positively influence games unless we drop James from the starting XI.

They played well for 5 minutes and scored. We need to pick a penalty taker ( Martial for me) and Ole's subs were too late. Look Liverpool bloody played shite against Southampton and got away with it like we used to, we need to find a way to gain that again. Going forward this team except Greenwood and Gomes in for Lingard and James is the way forward. With those two are m I've no doubt we'd been 2 up. As it is we were unlucky that Wolves scored off 5 mins when we dominated 85 of them. Ole needs to be quicker to change things.

They've had the ref on their side the last 3 times we've played them
