I just don't like him on the pitch, don't care about his stuff off it, that's his choice and his money but I really don't rate him and hope we replace him next summer as we will continue to be this level of team with players like him starting every week.

What really vexes me about Lingard is that he never drops off to receive the ball, he never has the movement to make himself available. He tends to run away from the ball holder, it's like he doesn't want to take any responsibility to influence the pattern of play.

I think he was very good in the 2nd half. Helped our midfielders alot, and had a very good run back to save a big big chance. Not his fault today
Like him as a player, think he did fairly well tonight. Second half called for a strong all round proper centre mid in with pogba and Scott to shore up the centre of the pitch and get control. That’s not Lingards fault

And don't get me wrong. I want lingard sold and I actually don't rate him. But today he wasn't the problem.
