What I absolutely hate about him is how he seems totally incapable of putting a lid on his emotions. And has no qualms getting personal either. Labelling this idiocy as passion is really just enabling him. Let grown men be held to grown men standards

Wonder if Neville will mention James’ dive in the first half? Given he was harping on about how we’ve finally brought in likeable (British) players the other day, I wonder if he’ll turn on James, or can he only spot treachery when it’s commuted by Johnny Foreigner? Prick.

Wonder what kind of contract he has with Sky, because it seems he cant or wont be biased like others there.

Because he has a clear agenda. Was it childish for Rashford to take the pen last week? He wasn't our designated penalty taker last season, as bad as Pogba was. Could it not have been Martial to take the pen? Rashford took it because he won the pen. That's the system in play.

He's creating drama out of nothing.
That’s not the system. They decide between themselves at the time. It’s a system that needs changing it’s not going to work. Gary was speculating which he’s entitled to do

He’s literally created singlehandedly a negative story about the team. Does he think he’s helping?

I think the producers at Sky want him to run that narrative or something. I don't believe GNev is actually that much of a moron. He's really outdone himself tonight.

The media is always gonna have United and pogba under the microscope but it doesn't help when one of our supposedly own gets the wheels in motion two games in. He's become more worsE than fecking sounes with the agenda, it's ridiculous.

He obviously wants pogba out and wants to contribute to facilitating that happening. But even then, stirring the pot making it out that something's not right at united? feck off you insufferable wank

Not sure what you mean by his monetary ambitions? Hes got plenty of cash these days I think. He’s also paid to give his honest opinion, he’s clearly very passionate and cares about us. He’s got to try and be neutral but got to be hard in his position. As for his views on pogba, don’t forget gary actually knows him and will have a pre determined view of him from previous dealings with him. He knows far more about him than we do and what goes on. To be honest when u see sloppy performances like that from a deviaive player who apparently doesn’t want to be here don’t think you can blame Neville for going off on one about him in the heat of the moment
I’m talking about his hotel, it would be counter productive for him to criticise the owners as the club is responsible for a significant portion of his revenue which perhaps explains the shift in his position towards the Glazers.
And it’s not an isolated incident with Pogba, his problems with him seem personal and you can hear it in his commentary. His analysis always deviates from critique of his performance to personal criticisms. It’s so transparent, it would be easier to take if he was as vocal about other players but the fact he focuses all of his attention on our best player just detracts from his credibility.

No wonder he's being dramatic, the missed penalty cost us 2 points and was totally unnecessary to change the penalty taker from last week. It creates confusion if it could be either taking the penalty, what happens if they both want it? Pogba's record is dreadful.

Carra is saying the exact same thing as Neville, he's comparing it to kids football, they're both right with what they're saying and we should be better organised.
Wolves increased their tempo, started pressing us higher up the pitch and we couldn't cope with it, we lost our composure, that's what cost us 2 points.

The penalty situation is blown out of proportion, and it's especially frustrating when a former United player is the one doing it. We have designated penalty takers, two of them happened to be on the pitch. Rashford wanted it and got it last week, Pogba wanted it this week. There was no fight, no sign of frustration, they spoke briefly and agreed without any issues.

Ofcourse Carra is saying it, what else do you fecking expect from him

If we score the penalty, the narrative guaranteed does not turn into 'how lucky United are that they have 2 penalty takers'.

Sky's coverage and analysis has been shite. Full of hyperbole and speculation, 'Daniel James looks like the only one who is a leader' based on the fact he spoke to Rashford ffs
I'd like a designated pecking order to stop any on-pitch drama when a spot kick gets given, but I agree fully. Dan James the only one who looks a leader, Christ Gary

He's a fecking moron. Imagine watching that second half and choosing to get your back up about the penalty and proceeding to rant about it for 25 minutes. Honestly.

All this Gary Neville hate is just projection from the pov of the moaners here. He's a United lad, born and bred, and sometimes he cannot contain his emotions and moans as most here.

Only difference being he's a media person and a pundit.

Fair comments on pogba and understand what u mean. Personally I just think Gary knows he’s not fully committed and probably isn’t keen on him from his time playing with him/spending time with him. As for the hotel- don’t think any of that is relevant, the hotel is a hotel in its own right and the stadium will be close to full and hotel rooms demanded no matter who the owners are, I don’t think that shapes his thinking on club ownership one bit to be honest

His anti-Pogba hatred is just as bad as the anti-Lingard hatred from Caftards.

But he can't show those emotions on TV when he is supposed to be strictly neutral.

Both Him and Carragher has agenda when it comes to British against Foreigner. Last week, He was already questioning Martial playing CF and Not Rashford as if it happened first time. Where was he all summer when united played so many Pre-season games?

He's paid to entertain and stoke conversation. Check out this thread. Neville is brilliant at his job.
So he's not much more different than a caftard for me, a legend of a player but the pundit's opinion has little to me. Carragher seems wiser when he doesn't spit at people

Thought he was spot on tbh.

Rashford should have hit the pen.

We are a young exciting side.
We do need a few very good, more experienced players.

We do have pace and counter attacking potential.

It is the right decision to play martial at 9

Yeah it’s pretty clear he doesn’t like Pogba, and even though it’s semi understandable, I just wish he could analyse his performances without letting it show. He’s obviously passionate about united, just like us but it hurts to see a club legend kicking the club while it’s down, I just think that he contributes heavily to the toxicity at the club.

Carragher is too scared to give his opinion on anything in case it upsets somebody.

He said the debate should be settled in the dressing room beforehand. Not on the pitch. That's a perfectly reasonable point of view.
That point is valid but but his initial thoughts clearly lets us know that he doesn't like Pogba.

He clearly has an agenda against Pogba and never misses a chance to insult him
