Well thats this week. Saved by Moutinho and Martial. I dont know how but I went up in total ranking. Right nu close to 15.000 and about 50 points behind leader. However, I have not used triple captain, bench boost or Wild Card. This week I am very tempted to make Kane my triple point captain. But still undecided.

I will use my 2 free transfers and take out at least Perez. And what I would do is take out Greenwood or van Aanholt depending on formation I want to go with.

Kane - King
Martial - Salah - Mouthino - Sterling - Perez
Dunk - WanBissaka - Rose
Henderson

Pope - Greenwood - Rico - Van Aanholt

Right now I'm thinking of going:
Perez to Mount or McGinn
Van Aanholt to Lundstram, El Mohamady or Emerson/Zouma

Lundstram is on my bench. Wondering whether to play him v Leicester over King v City. Obvious chance of King getting a pen, but seems more like Lundstram will get an assist (is a midfielder but in the game as a defender).

De gea (Button)
AWB VVD Zinchenko (Kelly, Lundstram)
Sterling(C) KDB Salah Pedro Dendonker
King Rashford(VC) (Wickham)

This is currently my team, but I am really tempted to swap out Salah and King to Son and Firmino as I always hated Salah scoring. Any tips?

Starting XI
Henderson
TAA - Maguire - Rico
Sterling - De Bruyne - Dendoncker - Maddison - Mane
Kane - Pukki
Bench
Button, Kelly, Hanley & Greenwood

I'm very happy with my starting XI apart of Rico....i still have 0.4 in the bank but i still need 0.1 to kill Rico/Kelly/Hanley for Aarons.
I'm surprised only 1.8% have Henderson in goal
Pukki :D

Yes, care about your points, not feelings.

I have the same dilemma but fairly certain i'm going for Lundstram.

Quite feeling this power mid team with Sterling perma captained...

Pope (who cares)

Zinchenko - VVD - AWB (Soyunco) (Lundstram)

Son - Sterling - KDB - Martial - Mount

Firmino - Pukki (Greenwood)
Main dilemma is does VVD/Son/Soyunco/Greenwood outscore Coleman/Cantwell/Kelly/Kane ?

I think it does, just. As long as Son comes straight in and takes his place back. Second option gives me a second captain option in Kane though. First one gives me a decent defender to rotate in as I think Kelly loses his place when CP get their first choice CB's fit.

No Salah or Mane is brave to say the least.

My dilemma at the moment is how to shoehorn Sterling into my side.
I've currently got a Midfield of Zaha, Milivojevic & Perez, but if I sacrificed Aguero & Jiminez, I could even bring in De Bruyne to Midfield alongside Sterling too....But then my attack doesnt look as fearsome...

Yeah I know. I'll probably probably bottle it and stick Mane in there before the deadline on Friday. I think Firmino will hit 180+ again and this might be his best season yet but Mane and Salah are both 250 pt players.

Hmmmmmm...

Mane/Kane/King/Cantwell vs Son/Pukki/Firmino/Mount

First does look better. Can even afford Barnes instead of King and there's plenty of other options at that £6.5m/£6.6m price point who have yet to catch fire. Compromise is I'd have to play one of Cantwell or Lundtsram every week which I don't fancy.

First one every single time.

If I lose KDB I can run with this...

Pope (who cares)

Zinchenko - VVD - AWB (Kelly) (Lundstram)

Mane - Sterling - McGinn - Mount (Cantwell)

Kane - Pukki - Rashford

More captain options and a nice little midfield rotation between Mount/Cantwell/McGinn (who could easily become Ceballos)
Can even keep VVD as Digne and bring in a £4.5 defender instead of Kelly to give me an extra option at the back.

Can I really go without the ginger wizard though?

Lose KDB? Madness.

I would say the only reason I would think of wild carding right now is getting KdB in because of his price.

Right, big call - as Wilson could well go down tonight.

Wilson & Robertson to Kane & 4m defender for free?
(Already have Lundstram & Kelly - so will have to be Hanley at Norwich who plays, or someone who doesn't)
Would still leave me with Ederson, Maguire, Van Dyke - and rotate one of those 3.

Or find a way round it - and not have Kane home to Newcy and keep the Pool double defence?

Kane captain or Sterling captain ? People above me, in my private leagues have Kane as captain. So, I am leaning towards him but I had captained Sterling in GW2.

Average start, wanted to make a shit ton of changes so wildcarded. Early wildcard worked great last year to get lots of value in team so don't think it's a bad tactic.

Ryan/Adrian
AWB-Zinchenko-KWP
Sterling-KDB-Martial-Mount
Kane-Rashford-Pukki

Sub GK, Maitland Niles, Lundstram, Cantwell

Only player unsure about is Mount, as could also have Lamela or Trossard or many others.

Ongoing depending on Kane/Mane form would plan to downgrade Kane to Barnes plus downgrade one of the defenders to bring in Mane for the 6m midfielder and play a consistent 343 with a fairly shite bench, just how I like it. Hate seeing points wasted on the bench :nono:

Leicester have some winnable games coming up so I’m sticking with Perez and putting lundstram in.

Pope
Taa, awb, perrera, digne, (lundstram)
Sterling, salah, martial, Perez, sigi
King (Greenwood, long)

Fairly happy at the minute but need to start seeing something from Perez and sigi as might be able to squeeze rashford in.

I've wildcarded and decided to get rid of Salah. Not bringing Mane in either and opted for Firmino.

Just looked at Sterling / Kane captaincy rotation over the next 12-15 weeks and I'd not captain Salah or Mane on many of those weeks so they are expensive players for non captain options.

Kane and Martial in for Auba and Sigi. Contemplating triple captaining Kane........it's only Newcastle.

Mate I'm very close to doing the same. Any way I crunch the numbers a Salah/Mane less team comes out on top.

I think Sterling is very close to being a set and forget captain.

Kane at 11 was just too tempting. I feel he'll provide better value over the season than Mane n Salah if he stays fit.

I'm playing both, I think you've got to fancy Wilson chances against most teams.

What other choices ?
Ederson
AWB, Digne, TAA
Sterling, Salah, Siggy, Ceballos
Wilson, Adams, Pukki

This is Adams last chance. Surely he can score against Brighton.
