I read it, and it wasn't very interesting.

Same I'm not sure what the interesting part is? The article starts as a hype tool for Andreas and yet I left reading it wondering what the point was in the whole thing? Same as everything I read on the MEN tbh

Luckhurst doesn't write interesting opinion pieces.

Sorry guys, I should have realised you lot are only interested in criticism of the club so that you can have a good rant about it.
Chill,
What's interesting to you may not be interesting to other people.
Personally I didn't really see much interest in it, I'd rather they write a report on the two closed games they mentioned so everyone can know how well the players selected played.

That article felt like it was written separately by a few reporters and the editor just took a paragraph from each of them to make up one article.

Good to see everyone not involved on Monday getting some minutes under their belit.

Really like Pereira - cracking cross for Martial's chelsea goal.

In fairness to @Sassy Colin the articles is highlighting Pereira's determination to make it this season at United by playing so soon after Mondays game. He wants to be absolutely on point fitness wise to make the most of any chance he gets in the first team.

Overall a terribly written article regardless of our opinions on Periera. What's the relation between Inter and United playing behind closed doors and Periera ? It feels like he was writing whatever he was thinking about at this time.

Highlighting the differences in approach between the two clubs regarding friendlies. Inter load up highlights of them trashing amateur players whilst we don't even report results on our website of similar games against Premier League sides.

Yeah what's that related to the second half of the article or even its title ?

Far too positive for this Forum :nono:

Pereira has been here for 5 years, 5!
8 if you count his youth caps. :)

I guess some players need a little bit longer. I like it when he plays the number 8 role. We see moments of class but still a little inconsistent which I suppose is to be expected until a player gets a run of games.

I think he will get that this season and believe it can make all the difference.

What are your thoughts?

That was a terrible article. No coherent thoughts or any theme to it. Just felt like a half hearted attempt at writing. Did luckhurst just turn in his kids writing assignment as an article?

Reads like an andy mitten.
Totally pointless and without the insightful insights it smugly purports to include.

Jury is still out on him, he isn't bad but doesn't exactly light the place up.

I've not read the article but I just wanted to chime in with some general negativity and agree that the article is shite.

To be fair, the sentence about Garner was interesting. It tells us that the article about the game was written without watching the game or knowing much about it.

He’s not a midfielder IMV even if he does OK in pre-season and behind closed doors training matches.

Interesting that Fred did not play in that friendly. What’s the deal with him?
