How many times has Gomes given away the ball carelessly when everton are trying to build an attack? Guy is a disaster.

Gomes back to his Barca form, does not look confident at all. Needs to relax and keep it simple.

Not sure about that. He does play young players to an extend though I suppose. Pickford is relatively young for a keeper, Richarlison and DCL are first team starters under Silva and he wanted Kean/Iwobi who are both young too. So is Mina.

I dunno how much to trust our U23 players. Most of the good ones like Hornby/Simms/Evans are forwards where we are pretty well stacked. Gibson looks good though and is worth pushing forward but I think the Everton job right now is very high pressure considering our spend/new stadium plans. I would not be surprised if we become a Chelsea 2.0.

DCL should have scored, he needs to score those otherwise Kean will be swiftly replacing him.

We haven't been bad attacking wise, had plenty of chances to score, we just can't fecking score. Same thing every week. We have made Villa look good - they have nice players for the counter that will give teams trouble but aside from that they shouldn't be beating us.

They controlled the game pretty much after their goal though.

Your side has basically 2 goal threats: Richarlison and Sigurdsson and I’d argue neither are very consistent. I guess the big hope is that Kean is a proper striker and goal threat.

It’s what I’ve been saying for all the money you’ve spent the side just doesn’t have much wow factor.

Barca gave Everton Deulofeu on a good deal.. then took him back.
Gave them a decent deal on Digne..
Then proceeded to totally feck Everton over by selling them Mina and Gomes.

Cunning bastards. Played the long con.
