Be honest, over the last two years he's gone from being one of the best keepers in the world to one who's consistently costing his team points. He simply isn't anywhere near good enough for any top team.

Just fecking get rid. He is no longer indispensable. Signing him up to a money spinning long term contract is just like post-Fergie United though.

He's still totally useless on the narrow angle. Has always been actually.

Anyone remember Palace goal in Fa Cup final 2016 ? He has always been like that from this angle. Easily beaten there.

Every club has a GK coach. He is not there for De Gea only
ofcourse the others do, but David has been the best goal keeper in the world year on year, he didn't need to make any adjustments to his game.

This contract situation not being resolved has pissed me right off with the form he has been in this year.

Disastrous mistake by De Gea. No excuse for that. It's a worrying sign after last season. It makes me think it was not a blip but maybe a constant decline and lack of focus.

He is a joke these days. The amount of mistakes he makes is staggering

If the club has made DeGea one of the best paid players at the club, which means he's one of the best paid players on earth, I genuinely dunno what to say. Something between his ears isn't working. DeGea of old stops that shot easily. I dunno if he's distracted, I dunno if he's lost some bottle but he doesn't look like he can hack it. Palace's winner is all down to his lack of concentration. Could've saved it with his feet.

He has been poor for over a year now, the second goal is totally on him. Should be benched, get Romero in. Has he signed the contract already? we should really avoid another Sanchez situation here.

Doubt things will change until situation is clear, maybe everything is decided behind closed door. LvG wasnt a fool.

We have to stop being sentimental. He was a top keeper for us for many seasons, but he's declined to the point where he doesn't deserve to start for us, much less the massive new contract we've offered him.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:.

It's not a mistake if it keeps happening for months on end. That'd be like saying Utd are just going through a tough spell.
Can’t understand what you put without more green smilies, sorry.

It's not a good situation to have a keeper still not sign.

We should not entertain a keeper who wants to wind down a contract. It's such a crucial position, you can't have someone not totally concentrating or committed to the team. Said before the Chelsea game last season he should not have played. We're still in limbo with this guy.

He's seen a lot of false dawns and probably a lot going through his mind again today after watching Palace stay at 1-0 for most of the match with us creating zero chances.

Honestly this would be another Rooney situation giving him a big contract. Just let him go.

I said it before he’s had the club to ransom for 12 months now whilst trying to negotiate a ridiculous contract he simply wouldn’t get anywhere else. And in this time his form has got worse.

We should have sold him in the summer and bought Navas from Real Madrid.

The amount of individual errors which have cost us since Christmas is staggering. He isn’t top class anymore.

No top keeper makes so many like he did since that Spurs game. I cant remember someone in the league being so shit every game
every game? Yeah, let’s not bother continuing this conversation.

If we were in a stronger position we should look at moving him on, but we already need signings in about 8 positions.

We clearly had chances to replace De Gea in the summer and failed to do so, now we are paying for it. He's been brilliant but you can't excuse the amount of simple mistakes he's made in his last 10-15 matches.

He's had a bad 12 months. I normally wait at least 18 months of poor form before claiming a player has "lost it" so right now I'm still just calling it poor form.

World Cup is where it all went wrong.
