How are you coping as a City fan?

Guardiola was Barca manager for 4 seasons, Bayern manager for 3 seasons, and just about to complete 3 seasons at City.

I think there's a 50% chance he'll quit after the FA Cup final, and 100% chance he won't stay past next season.

That's how I'm coping.
I never saw him staying anywhere long term. I don't see an obvious move for him in the next few years though.

Wherever he goes he will want to have higher financing & better players than any other team in the league. Psg & Juve are mooted as the most likely destinations but what can he offer these clubs they don't already have. They are already competing in 1 team leagues. These clubs crave the CL more than leagues & domestic cups. His success at Barca was a long time ago though. He failed to replicate this at Bayern & it looks like he'll do the same at City too. Would these clubs think it was worth it to pay his massive salary but still get no closer to their real goal.

Always found it strange how most United fans dislike Leeds more than Liverpool. Then in Italy, we always look at it from a competitive point of view so you two were always the main rivals whereas Leeds were hardly in the equation.

Sir Matt Busby though, one of a kind to be affiliated with United, Man City and Liverpool. Love and respect that.
Leeds were pure evil. They were just nasty. They had some great players but they'd pull every dirty trick in the book then make out they were the victims. This goes back to the mid-60s with us, maybe before, but there's been nothing but pure, undilute hatred between Leeds and United fans for as long as I've been a supporter. Funny though, we've done a fair bit of transfer business with them: Jordan, McQueen, Cantona, and Smith coming this way, Giles, Strachan, and Sharpe going the other. United and Liverpool's inter-club transfer business is virtually zero.

Add Chelsea, Everton, Utd and probably Spurs fans (after June 1st) to that list.
Scousers becoming the most hated team.
It used to be Manchester United. I guess it's the price you pay for having a good team. I'll take it while you all hug each other celebrating Manchester City.

That's what makes this rivalry cool to me...two of England's most successful clubs with respect for one another but would consider it a sin to do business together. I'd love to see a serious title race between you two...heck you can throw the old Arsenal in the mix as well.

2009 was a great title race.

They were ahead late in the season but we had a few games in hand due to the world club cup.

This is why the Mecheda goal was so iconic.

Rafa had the fahcts rant and then we turned it on and pulled away. Liverpool had a class team too with Torres Gerrard Reina Macherano and Alonso.

What a season. Spurs comeback with Rooney Ronaldo Berbatov Tevez and Carrick all on the pitch at the same time.

It really doesn't take much for Liverpool fans to be cocky again. City are the most successful team in the land but they are not that hated. So no.. Its not necessarily about having a good team.

Good post! Takes an older (excuse the word) member to understand this. I will always hate Leeds no matter what. Liverpool will never come anywhere near for me.

?

We were never going to contend for title, given our squad we'd do extremely well to make Top 4. It's between City and Liverpool again this season, so we have to support City again.

I didn’t expect us to compete.

But I didn’t expect to be like 5 points behind Liverpool three games in.
