Seriously can’t understand why he’s not higher up the pitch.

He lost possession in dangerous positions 5 times in the first half today. Did the same against Crystal Palace.

But going forward is the only player with the killer pass. If he losses possession higher up the pitch we have players back to to defend.

It’s either play him as a 10 or not at all. We look insanely light in midfield when he is in a two.

Does any other TOP player give the ball away as much as Pogba? Always in very poor areas as well, God help us against Liverpool and City

He should be higher but no single position tweak is going to fix us.

True simply put if you sell two central midfielders you must buy at least one in.
I don't think a single player acquisition is an absolute solution either, maybe 50% of it. Maybe except Prime Ronaldo/Messi caliber player. Chance creation goes deeper. Passing triangles are coached on the training ground. The players that can maximise it are bought in the transfer market. Buying Maguire for example was never going to fix the lack of coordinated movement ahead of him. It's a step in the right direction though

Play Fred and Mctominay centrally. That’ll give Pogba a bit of license to get forward.

It's criminal that Ole continues to waste Pogba in a midfield 2. He either needs to have a free role from the left of a midfield 3 or as a #10.

He's by far our most creative player and has the ability to score or assist from just about anything. He's completly and utterly wasted in a midfield 2.

Instead we get to suffer with Lingard, Mata and Andres. That's Manchester United folks.

Shocking that a attacking player is playing well in a attacking position, Jose and Ole didn't/doesn't get it.

He looks far better further up the pitch but as long as Ole keep playing dumb and dumber in the attack it won't matter where we play him.

If he plays high up vs team that parks the bus he won't get ball nearly as much

His terrible form so far this year is mysterious to me... but I don't think he can't play cm.

No just let him go. We had 3 years to buy top midfielders to play behind him and didnt. Don't waste his time even more. We don't even replace our awful players like Fellaini.
