Get Woody out.

The club has made zero progress since he became chairman. I don't care how good he is commercially.

Woodward should be gone the same day Ole is gone too. This our 7th year post Fergie, with the squad not moving a single inch forward, and the entire club still struggling to get 4th at best every season. 4 failed managerial appointments and loads of money wasted previously, before deciding to stop spending the last 2 summer in a bizarre way. Not to mention the terrible briefing of the media to exclude himself from the blame from now and then especially the absurd DOF rumors. Anyone remember when he briefed to the media Mourinho is the one preventing us from getting a DOF ? Then why didn't we appoint one after he was sacked by nearly 1 year ?

He fecked up the club and it's time for him to be sacked from the job. There can't be a single fecking reason he should be in charge of appointing the next manager post Ole. No fecking reason.

The club is a utter shamble from the top down. No director with any football experience to lead the club, a manager that seems to have no clue and a squad filled with overpaid midtable players. It will be a long time and take a lot of changes before we will be competing again.

It has to start with Woodward.

Get someone who understands football doing the football contracts and then we can start looking at what else needs to be done, but...

WOODWARD OUT!!

We've been talking about players and managers not performing, what have the board or the owners done????

We've got rid of players and managers, only thing consistent is Ed and the board. Time for change.

We need ruthless executive vice-chairman and director. I do not want to see smiles on the staffs and the players faces. I want frowning and all-in angry faces when they miss every single pass.

Sale coming up? They'll sell while the value of the club is high, Sponsorships and other commercial incomes will decline if our wonderful results continue. Let's not kid ourselves, they are only here for the money and nothing else. Would bet 100 that they can't even name 15 players from our squad.

The glazers will sale the club soon the decline is not only on the football field but on the commercial side, soon or later the brand “United” will not be that attractive.
The United brand will always be an attractive proposition to sponsors and the like when it has a fanbase of 750 million people and growing worldwide.

I can't see the Glazers ever selling the club unless they recieve an outrageous bid.

Put Pep in charge and we'd not be amazing. Better than Ole for sure but still not like he is at city. The club is rotten.

New owners, new start. This regime is over. Fergie can't save them anymore.

Fans have now become sheep in just accepting the shower of shite served up from the club.

If the club was a human we would be preparing to switch off the machine

This. Pep has been fully backed...he wouldn't have been here.

A strew of broken promises from the board. So much for getting in a DoF before a permanent manager could be made. Here we are with a permanent manager and no DoF... arguably the type of manager who probably needs a DoF to get the best out of him.

We have like 4 people who can claim to be the head honcho for scouting and player recruitment but none of them have been able to unearth a good prospect in the past six years. No idea if thats because dithering David Moyes vetoed it, or LVG and Jose ignored them and did it their way, but thats fecking awful for a big club.

The optimist in me thinks their frugality means they're serious about selling and aren't looking to put more money into it.

Ole was made to rely on these players due to Woodward failing to provide him with better options.
Who were we after then? Longstaff? We had tunnel vision on our targets and that was a massive problem.

Don’t waste £80m on one player if the budget was tight.

Don’t get rid of so many player if they aren’t being replaced. Why has our third best CB gone? Why was both Lukaku and Sanchez allowed to go? Ole has so much confidence in Greenwood yet won’t give him more than 10 minutes. The whole strategy has yet again been disasterous. It’s like the board and football management don’t communicate with each other.

Rubbish gone try and make sense mate . Ole wanted Rashford and Martial as his main goalscorers. That was his brainless decision not the Glazier or Ed .

They’ve fecked this club right into the ground. They’ll sack Ole, and spin us a yarn about hiring a DoF. Promise the world to Allegri, hire him, then throw him under the bus, when shit hits the fan again, as they’ll be bargaining on him to get us back challenging without serious investment to this squad.

As long as they can monetise anything to do with Manchester United, they’ll bleed this club dry. And some feckwits, like a couple in this thread, will keep telling us; that Glazers/Woodward and leveraged buy outs aren’t a problem at all etc etc. cnuts.

But then again, we’re all part of the problem. Our inaction is a big part of them still being here.

So you're suggesting Ole told Woodward he was happy to go through the season with only Rashford + Martial as his primary strikeforce options and no new additions to the midfield area, rather than spend money in those weak areas to improve the squad?

Please show me where Ole said anything of the sort.

I like the signings we made this summer, but not to bring in new midfielders or an attacker was a criminal mistake. One which many of us pointed out before the season began.

I don't know who else we were after this summer but neither do you. You're assuming Longstaff was our only target because the media told you so. Who knows what to believe anymore?

Don't believe that for a second, I'm sure Ole wanted to replace Sanchez and Lukaku, not just offload them without viable replacements. No manager at this level is that naive.

Aye, Ole tried everything to convince Herrera to stay and sign a new contract, but he was perfectly fine with the state of our midfield and didn't want replacements after that.

Sounds logical.

Always amazes me that these hot shot business 'leaders' can fail consistently and never face the consequences. This guy gets millions in bonus payments while the players suffer pay cuts and managers get the sack.

Our fans are partly to blame. Real Madrid fans would have flattened him by now. Juventus too. We just seen to be accepting our demise without a fuss.

Every game should be chanting Woodward and Glazers out. For 90 mins. Feck it even disrupt the games with tennis balls or something. The club is dieing.

I think we'll get more joy protesting against Woodward than against the Glazers. Other than Saudis, noone in the world can realistically buy Man Utd without saddling us with a bunch of debt again.

Woodward has proven that he has no clue how to run the football side of the club - keep him dealing with all the commercial stuff and take him out of the decision making chain on the football side. Have a competent DoF report directly to the board / Glazers instead. That'll be a start.

It baffles me. Even a tight-fisted owner, as a top-drawer businessman, would think - you have to speculate to accumulate.

Hiring a DOF means another high-earner on the payroll. But that decision would mean stability and potential success. Surely, the Glazers must at some point look at this dogshite and go "feck. our cash-cow is in serious jeopardy of falling out of favour, here".

As much as I hate them and Woodward, this is their livelihood. I don't understand why they don't just think, right, time to go hard here. Get in a DOF, bring in a top manager, release as much funding as is necessary within reason.

Not "let's give Ole a job and give him less money than we gave Jose last summer".

They're winging it and they're being fed by the season ticket renewals. They're doing a fantastic job of clinging on because fans are allowing them to do so. Nobody moans in the ground, seats are filled despite shite football, average squad and average results. They cannot believe their luck

Woodward and the Glazers aren’t going anywhere. This is now a mid table club, it’s not a fluke we are where we are and it’s getting worse and worse.

Surely fans will turn this season, we’ll be well adrift of top four by end of October.
