Honestly, I like it. In Hungary it was great seeing it come down lap after lap as Hamilton caught Verstappen.
Surely you can see that just by looking at the gaps on the left of the screen?

To me half the fun is not knowing which strategy is best. Now you can tell straight away with a graphic on the screen. Maybe I’m just being the old man shouting at the clouds.

You can see the gap go down but it gives you less information as you'd have to note it at the same point each lap.

I'd have Albon as driver of the day, Norris has done really well but he's not been racing anyone really, same as Leclerc.

Like now for example? Would you rather they flashed up the prediction?

Hamilton's only gonna have the last corner to have a go at Leclerc, don't think he'll manage it.

Nice for Leclerc, good first win. Also nice of him to immediately mention it’s hard to enjoy a victory after a weekend like this - he said it instantly on the board radio and repeated that post match.

Lewis is just a machine, got close in the end and it’s the 25th time in a row he finished scoring points. Not sure whathappened with Lando Norris, and somehow I just feel bad for Ricciardo.

Seb did his work holding Lewis up, takes nothing away from Leclerc.
I do think that if Lewis had been brought in a lap or so earlier as he wanted that he could have won. Good race for Leclerc and the unlucky Norris.
Vettel is rapidly becoming a sideshow.

Lewis looked upset during his interview, not his normal self, they all the drivers , but given the weekend they have just had , understandable.
Yeah, he watched the accident happen while he was giving an interview and you could see it effecting him. Really cements how brave all of them are that they just get back in the car and carry on scrapping at 200mph at the exact same spot they saw Hubert die.

Happy for Leclerc. Bianchi was his godfather, Hubert was his friend grew up. They both died in circuit did what they loved. Must be a tough weekend for him to get his first win in this situation.

Finally we get a Ferrari up top and I'm happy for Leclerc, but it feels like it really doesn't matter after what happened yesterday.

RIP Hubert.

This is sad news , was hoping ,he would be getting better.

Juan Manuel Correa is in a 'critical but stable' condition in hospital after complications arising from his accident in last weekend's F2 race at Spa.

The 20-year-old's parents issued a statement saying their son was in an induced coma and under ECMO support in hospital in London.

"On his arrival to London, Juan Manuel was diagnosed with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. This is an injury considered common in high impact accidents such as this one," read a statement.

"Unfortunately, this injury resulted in Juan Manuel falling into Acute Respiratory Failure. Juan Manuel is currently in an Intensive Care Unit that specializes in respiratory injuries.

"At this point of time he is an in induced state of unconsciousness and under ECMO support. Juan Manuel is in critical but stable condition.

F1 will be hard to watch this weekend after the events of last weekend and the news that Correa is critical but stable.

Monza this weekend and it looks to be a Lewis v LeClerc battle.
Leclerc fastest in both Friday sessions but Hamilton just 0.068s slower in P2, despite setting best lap in the rain; Vettel third, Bottas fourth and Red Bull not far off.
A dry track at the start of the Practice Two allowed Ferrari, who have brought an upgraded engine to their home race, to hit the front early through the in-form Leclerc, whose 1:20.978 would not be beaten.

But although Mercedes didn't manage to complete a qualifying simulation before the rain started to fall 20 minutes into the afternoon session, Hamilton was just 0.068s slower than Leclerc when he fitted the soft tyres in the light drizzle.

Correa is sounding a lot worse than I originally thought, to lose Hubert was bad enough but to lose a second driver would be horrific. Correa's teammate is on pole for the first F2 race this weekend, would be great if he could win.

Holy shit did anyone see that F3 crash? I don't think I've seen a car fly as high as that. I'll try and get a vid of it

Edit:

Yeah, that was insane. Glad Peroni is ok, also glad they've seen sense and decided to remove the sausage kerbs there.

I can't believe someone decided it was a good idea to put one there in the first place
