Sausage kerbs are highly dangerous and proven again today as to why they should be removed. More importantly, the FIA are getting far too relaxed on safety for drivers at circuits. Another example was yesterday where they had tow trucks on the circuit whilst cars were still going round (albeit under red flag conditions).

Holy crap that's nuts, glad he's ok

I can't believe someone decided it was a good idea to put one there in the first place
Yeah, think one of the drivers pointed it out yesterday. Russell was also pretty understandably angry about the stupidity of letting a recovery vehicle out on track while cars were out there in shocking conditions as @F-Red mentioned.

I thought they stopped that after what happened to Bianchi. Madness.

That was ridiculous. Shame the McLaren wasn’t quick enough for the upset

Total fiasco. They have to find someway around this towing farce on this track.

 Can I get a refund on my F1 subscription? Imagine having paid money to go to the track today.

Be interesting to see what the stewards do with penalties - Hulkenberg's nailed on to get one, could take them ages to figure out the rest. They might not get time to review whether Bottas and Vettel's laps should be deleted...

Just a mess, Cutting the first corner to not lead the pack then the rest not wanting to overtake and blocking. Vettel was off the track on his first lap so shouldn’t even be allowed, Bottas didn’t make the flag before it went red but keeps his time.

Shambles of a session

Seb's not going to be happy with Charles for that overtake.

What was Charles playing at? He should have kept the rest behind and let Seb go for it to try and eat a front row lock out. Ferrari are fecking dumb at times.

If you’re Le Clerc then fine, but all the others wtf were they thinking. With all the metrics and data, how could the likes of Vettel and Hamilton let it happen that they don’t get the chance to take pole. Madness.

Well the issue I think actually was that it was Vettel who was due to the tow and so it was actually meant to be to Vettel’s benefit.

The whole fiasco should first and foremost have been ended by the team in the garage who should have had all the data to know they were far too close to be going that slow. And then by the likes of Lewis and Seb who had the most to lose from this situation.

Personally think they should all be demoted to the last ten spots on the grid!

Hulkenberg and Stroll really instigated that though, if they were going to isolate to true culprits. But then having said that, they were all responsible from that point on.

The F3 drivers all got penalties for same incident. Lets see if the FIA will be consistent.

If that was their intention, Charles should have been out of pit before Seb. They fecked up somewhere and there's their race strategy messed up.

Lewis will be winning this tomorrow easily. Charles doesn't have Seb helping him fend off Lewis this time and Seb isn't going to help him out after he messed up his qualifying.

He was actually get on with it and passed the flag. Except him and Leclerc, others should get penalties.
He and Stroll backed the pack up after Rettifilo and they all reacted to Hulkenberg. They then blocked cars trying to get through onto Curve Grande, until Sainz got told to put his foot down by his engineer.

Everyone behind them can take an equal share of the blame too in my opinion. It's their fault they left it too late.
