Typical Lukaku performance but that celebration for their equaliser was funny.

That's a commonly shared opinion among Inter fans. After first game they were very excited as he initiated few counter attacks, then found ways to be positive when he scored penalty even after all the racial abuse, after Udinese game they are worried about his game.

inter should have gotten dzeko but they cried about 20 million price tag crazy dzeko better in dribbling, scoring, heading, running into space trapping and holding the ball while lukaku watching these 4 games he is a pinball machine ball comes to him and it bounces back to most of time to opposing player in less then a second and what is it with him always pointing where he wants the ball every other striker i have seen make runs and don't tell defense where ball will be going
Yeah barella went up towards the end and won a decking header. Where as this plank of shit couldn't do it all game. I'm not even disappointed though because I have zero expectations for him
I find it amazing how such an obvious physical beast somehow manages to come of second best so much in physical battles.
Look at how cute he is with his off the ball movement.

First of all, terrible positioning and bad run at the wrong lane.

Second, he's asking for a pass when there's no chance of receiving one and he's in no direct line towards one. Lautaro has to stop, step over the ball, and look for Lukaku to his right and then we have to hope that the 3rd defender doesn't close in on him, which of course he'll do, who are we kidding here?

Third, all of this can be seen by how the loose defender is covering both Lukaku and Lautaro's shot/path in case he surpasses his marker. Lukaku is not only being useless for himself here, he's also causing Lautaro more problems to finish off the chance. Lukaku is simply positioned in a hopeful position that the ball squirms to him somehow either by a loose deflection or by a goalkeeper parry.

Where he should have been? Run wider, towards the 2nd post, attracting a defender. But no, he has to ask for a heeled lobbed curved pass there...

This is just a small sample of how bad his awareness is. He really is... just a poacher.

This is where problem lies, he should make a run there to drag the free defender away so that one faint move will give laturo a chance to shoot at goal. Right now Laturo has a marker and even if he loses marker by skill move there is another defender in way of the shot. Maybe defenders know Lukaku wont make such runs and is totally ignoring him. At times hes too easy to defend against for a striker of his size and goal record.

Pointing is just a way of making out that failed moves are the fault of someone else.

It’s nice that we can all bask in the collective joy of watching Rom do his Rom thing at a club far away from Old Trafford.

I liked him in his 1st season here, however, it really should've been a warning sign that almost every time we played Everton he was easily stopped by our defenders, even Blind and McNair had no trouble dealing with him.

He's just going to get worse and worse

The racism stuff will start taking its toll and he will want out come January (rightly so) Nobody in their right mind is paying anywhere near £70m for him.

How is it bad news for us. We have got our money and we also have some sell in clause so we will get some more money of they sell him.
I'd imagine thepolice123 was referring to add ons.... We won't be getting appearance/goals based add ons if he is crap and they get rid of him.
How much of the fee we have based on those things, I have no idea.

Yeah but his 'digestive system' is costing us a fortune in biscuits.

They are stick with him - his value will decrease dramatically on the presumption he carries on playing like he has.

No-one else wanted him this summer, and I can’t imagine there will be any takers for him other than the likes of West Ham, and Lukuku’s inflated ego wont like that!

He made a great choice of joining Inter. Less pressure, less attention. Not many will ridicule him for such performances.
Not true, there will plenty of pressure at Inter and given his cost, plenty of attention. Italians will absolutely ridicule him for such performances, after all they're a bit more to used to technical players than the Premier League. Serie A will expose all of his technique to the maximum, just grab the popcorn after his initial honeymoon is over.

The Lukaku thread on ForzaInter forum is a fecking goldmine. First few pages all hype, some of them thinking they're getting Everton Lukaku. Last few pages reality struck

Whilst there is a weird part of me that wants Lukaku to flop at Inter, another part of me does fear it may turn really ugly for him (in regards to him receiving racial abuse) if he continues to under-perform.

He is their big money signing and is expected to help them compete with Juventus for the league and progress in the Champions League.

Never quite seen a player like him though. He's like a human wall, everything bounces off him. Problem is ideally you'd want the ball not to

Rom had one good involvement all game. Don't bother to watch the entire game - it was like in the 94th minute. A decent cross he managed to head towards the goal. Any decent keeper would save it, though.
I'm over the moon about us getting our money back on him - Inter won't be that lucky.

Rom doesn't deserve the abuse. No one does. And we all know Italy could be like cave-men when it comes to racism.

I like how a thread presenting a player most wanted gone and apparently didn't bother about at all has 40 pages mid September.

FORZA INTER Forum discussing Big Rom:

Pretty disgusted with this thick wood
Some of us tried to warn you guys over the summer..
No point denying was terrible today
He was poor previous game as well. Needs to sit on the bench for the Milan's game.
I dont think he's been good in any of his games. He scored a tap in and penalty and aside from that he looks poor. Lautaro and Politano should be starting
This. If Conte wants to keep his job he needs to bench Lukaku. His problem isn't a fitness or a back problem as he wanted us to believe.
Hahaha, everyone singing his praises all but a few pages ago about link up play etc. You's are crazy. We had one of the best strikers in the world that we chased away and now stuck with this. We just nerd to hope he picks it up. Conte as well.
Lukaku should be paired up with the bench. Just because he cost us a fortune doesn't make him immune to punishment for invisible performances.
He points with fingers when he wants to make run. He should just make a run and hope someone passes him.... It's nearly impossible to make such an accurate pass that he wants. Should be more proactive. I will not dismiss him yet. He needs to be better. I will give him some time.
My god, he won a duel or two alright. That second ball though, never reaches anyone but the opponent. Looks like his big cons are showing big time.
Did anyone notice him after the Barella goal? I saw him moving towards the ball and then I was like, why is there another guy there. Saw the HLs now and he was standing over the fecking ball celebrating until Asamoah tried to grab it while he was doing air fecks................. Now I want to punch the screen and notify him to get hurt by it.
Someone make a GIF about that. This was beyond pathetic. To even imagine drawing comparisons of Icardi vs Barcelona at home where he just rushes to pick the ball up without blinking an eye after the ball went in, oh my days.
He's a coward, he doesn't take chances, I'm yet to see him taking one direct shot at the goal after four fecken games. What a fecken rip off Manutd. Well played!
I find it amazing how such an obvious physical beast somehow manages to come of second best so much in physical battles.
I’m surprised he didn’t put his body on the line more today. I mean I know you’re not a back to goal striker we get it but even Lautaro went harder into 50/50s.
Icardi never played this shit. I understand he's not good in the aerial duels but cmon dude, he looked like he didn't give a feck. Show some passion at least.
His first touch truly is horrendous. At the start of the second half someone played him in on what should have been an easy shot attempt that instead turned into a one-touch redirect to Asamoah.
At least he's not invisible. Just completely shit in a vivid way
Man Utd. fans:
They were laughing and calling us dumbasses before when we were linked to him.
They were laughing and calling us dumbasses before when we signed him.
They are laughing and calling us dumbasses right now.
They will be laughing and calling us dumbasses until the end of time.
They spent a shit ton of money on a flop and we ensured they incurred minimal losses. I don't know what you expect Man Utd fans to do? Miss Lukaku?
Like my co-worker who is a Man Utd fan told me when we signed him, he's our problem now.
And this is the zinger
If Sanchez is fully fit he needs to be a starter no doubt.

I wanted him to flop at Inter after his alleged comments and way he handled the transfer when he was still playing for us. However after seeing the racist abuse he suffered recently I was hoping he would go on to have a successful career in Italy and enjoy his football.

Footballing banter aside I felt sorry for him so much, it would be nice for him to show these racist cnuts how good he can be.

I still can't believe we got the money we did. I genuinely thought it would end up being a two year loan and overall fee of around £65m.

Really impressed with Ole's ruthlessness on this one, it'd have been so easy to have him around stinking up the place as a backup option for 12 months whilst his value dropped to £35m.
