Trailer looks alright, maybe a bit crap  :nervous:

Probably a good 10 years+ too late, but I am going to watch it anyway  Loved the first one. A bit less so the second.

Just switch off and enjoy the popcorn action movie.

I will watch it and love it, these 2 bounce off each other really well imo and it just looks mindless fun.

For some reason, this trailer just made me think that I'd have loved it if Tony Scott (RIP) could have directed this movie.

Not having Michael Bay as director can only be a plus to any film.

Two promising Belgian producers making their Hollywood debut. I didn't mind the previous Bad Boys movies so I'll probably give this a watch as well.

Second one was still fun despite first one being greater. Cant believe it would have been 17 years since part 2 and 25 since the first one :nervous:

Tickets booked for this Friday, not like Derby Odeon to leave it this late until they are available! Very much looking forward to it, first 2 are really decent films in the genre.

I'm buzzing about this film. I didn't go to the cinema once in 2019, but this is defintely getting me through the door.

The number one rule of a trailer is if it cannot make you laugh even once then chances are the film is shit.

Unless it's not meant to be funny, like Big Momma's House or something.

I used to think this but Superbad broke that trend.

Was invited to a screening of this yesterday.
Wasn't expecting anything really but it's not that bad. Even managed to laugh at Martin Lawrence at least one time and I've never liked him really.

This film is getting great reviews, didn't expect that, I might just go to watch it.

I've booked IMAX tickets for tonight for that reason. That and the molten chocolate cake that Cineworld do is delicious.

Watched the original last night to give the other half a taste for whats to come. Will go back and watch the 2nd this weekend when we get chance.

I feel like Kevin Hart took the concept of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence too far for this to ever work again.

Really, really enjoyed it. Plenty of action movie cliches in there but honestly, it was just a fun movie. Exactly how cinema experiences should be. Watched it in IMAX. Loads of moments where I could hear laughter around me and would thoroughly recommend.

Would go to see it but Scorcese has just said that it's not real cinema. But then a non Oscar winning anti-mainstream film maker has said that Scorcese isn't real cinema. I'm so confused that I went to the cinema and bought popcorn and brought it home to eat in bed with the lights off consuming no content.

Is Mel Gibson the only real cinema left? Is winning an Oscar mainstream?Should it mean you shouldn't have an opinion (after all the 'real' musicians never win awards)? Is it ok to enjoy something that's not 'meaningful'? All I wanted was to bring my wife out for an enjoyable night but she has now left me for my best friend because I'm too 'highly strung'. A decent movie overall.

Worth a watch but nowhere near as good as the first one, not enough drugs and hot women....

I saw this last night and it’s decent.

The ending...

Was disappointing. I’m all for the odd bit of redemption.

But the baddie fired hundreds of bullets at Mike throughout the film, executed various others and killed the captain.

There is no way he ever becomes the character at the end, helping drag Marcus up from the giant fire pit.

He is a psychopath, end of story.

I can just about deal with the main plot but that bit I’m still chuckling about now!

Agree with the spoiler.

There isn’t a shortage of plot holes and ridiculous turns but it’s fun.

Not as funny as the second one which had me in tears at times. The boys never lost their chemistry though, great to see them back on screen.

As a fan of the first two I was pretty disappointed, although I knew it was probably not going to be very good.

Thought the sound track was pretty poor, dialogue was way too forced, not enough action and too many random 20 second scenes where nothing is going on. That said there were funny moments, but nothing that came close to the second film.

How many times did they have to say “we ride together we die together.” As a toast at a family wedding? Okay then.

Went to see it last night, was the best film out of the three IMO. I say that as someone who had very little expectations going in as the trailers looked bad.

Going to see this tonight. The reviews have been very good and I’m intrigued to see what it’s like.
