With that news it looks like we will have one change from the Leicester lineup (Lingard for Pereira).

We'll for sure lose this one.

West Ham will outplay us, kill us physically and we will not match they intensity. Noble will be Pirlo, Diop and Ogbona will kill Rashyyy and we'll see long balls Youngy back in contention....

They were rubbish against Villa and will look astonishing against us... Typical United no ?

Sure we will concede on set piece, and once they ll take the lead (after 15 mins), that Fabianski bas***** will start losing time

    My team

    AWB---------------Maguire---Lindelof-----------Young
    ----------------Mc Tominay----Matic--------------------

    Anderson----------------Lanzini------------Yarmolenko

Not expecting much with Shaw, Pogba and Martial out.

Not sure what your response is all about. West Ham away would be tough enough with a completely fit and healthy first choice XI. With the amount of injuries we have it makes the job doubly hard

    Wan Bissaka Lindelof Maguire Young
    McTominay Fred
    Greenwood Lingard James
    Rashford

Hoping for this, though can see Pereira or Mata starting ahead of Greenwood on the right (or as the 10 and Lingard going right).

Absolutely zero chance of United winning this. No chance in hell. Right?
I doubt it. They are a good team, have home advantage and we don't have our best players available. A draw would be great.

A couple of weeks ago I saw this as a narrow 3pts, but I can't see it anymore. We'll be lucky to take a point. Every time I write our line-up, I feel mildly sick.

    AWB - Lindelöf - Maguire - Young
    McTominay - Fred
    Pereira - Mata - Lingard
    Rashford

Bench: Gomes, Greenwood, Matic, Tuanzebe, Rojo, Romero, Jones

I *think* Chong played himself back to the U-23's last night, but I could be mistaken. He was very good against Southampton, in which case he takes Gomes' spot on the bench.

Greenwood is very very good, but he's not starter ready, he might come in during the game. I put Rojo on the bench because he had a good game against Astana, and there was some proper smiles and claps between OGS and Rojo when he was subbed off, so might be a good feeling for the both of them there.

If Matic starts, we lose. Please for the love of all things holy, start Fred and McTominay in MF.

I thought Matic was ok yesterday but I think that’s his level.
Fred was much more mobile and I think we’ll need that mobility against West Ham. They’re a better team at home and a couple of their players are useful.
    Hoping James is fit

I disagree on Matic, thought he really held us back yesterday with the number of touches he was taking every time he got on the ball. We'd be eaten alive with Matic starting against West Ham. If Fred starts I'll be far more optimistic.

I don't rate this West Ham side and don't see them breaking us down so another 1-0 win which ill gladly take with both hands.

Think Masuaku is banned. Sure he got sent off vs Villa.

Yeah, I think we have to play Fred. Every time the ball came to Matic, he took so long it allowed them to get back into their defensive shape and the attack fizzled out.

I think it'll be tight given who's available but I reckon our defence should hold up and we could nick a 0-1.

I never fail to be amazed how most people on here predict a win for us every single week. I know positivity is good but...

i can see it going much like last season. losing by a couple of goals

It's far healthier to be consumed by the negativity you display, isn't it?

The one fixture since 1992 where West Ham play like Barcelona that one time of the season

That's a difficult one either way. Go into games thinking the worse, but then thrilled when it doesn't happen or go in thinking the best and be perpetually disappointed. Neither is good for your health.

Play 5 at the back or Axel as DM. Play for a point.

Cant believe we went to season with just one striker ffs.

Diamond with those injuries for me. Lingard in behind Rashford and Greenwood as split strikers. Matic at the base with Fred and McTom either side of the diamond.

4231: De Gea, Wan-Biassaka, Lindelöf, Maguire, Young; McTominay, Fred; Lingard, Pereria, Rashford; Greenwood.

    Very unlikely however.

Well, this year our manager isn't trying to get the sack and Smalling and McTominay won't be in defence. I expect our defence to be much improved this time around and hopefully, Matic won't be playing either.
