Tougher game than Leicester with the same injuries. Not expecting much from this given our record at West Ham.

West Ham away sucks.. and the injuries are not helping.

    Back 5 picks itself.
McT, Rashford, Lingard, James are certainties as well..

Fred, Matic, Pereira, Mata.. pick 2.

    De Gea
    AWB--Lindelof--Maguire--Young
    Fred--McTominay
    Lingard--Mata/Pereira--James
    Rashford

subs: Romero; Axel, Rojo; Matic, Pereira, Gomes; Greenwood

I'd take three points by any means

Well, this year our manager isn't trying to get the sack and Smalling and McTominay won't be in defence. I expect our defence to be much improved this time around and hopefully, Matic won't be playing either.
I think I'd prefer him to Young! At least some of his passes reach other guys in a United shirt!

This is the kind of game where we suffer as a result of our reputation more than anything

You just know West Ham will be pumped up, chase every lost cause, thunder into every tackle and put their bodies on the line because 'it's Man United'

Problem is, we're just an imitation of the real Man Utd at the moment and can't cope when opponents raise their games against us!

I'm going early West Ham goal and a 2-0 defeat

Hope that Haller doesn't give Lindelof the run around too much!

Our injury issues really are causing trouble, without James also (if he can't play) it's going to be another tough one.

I wonder if we will give up on the width and go back to a 4-1-2-1-2

    Something like

    AWB/Maguire/Lindelof/Young
    Mctominay/Matic/Fred
    Pereira or Lingard
    Rashford Greenwood/Lingard

If Axel would have played maybe a full 90 in the league already I would have started him over Lindlelof for this fixture. He's more physical and aggressive but strangely enough they are both pretty average in the air with Victor being the worse.

Not seen West Ham play a game thus far but our record away speaks for itself. The only hope is that they don't sit to absorb pressure but play on the front foot to give our attacking players spaces to move into. It seems we are only capable of winning competitive games when we have less of the ball.

gonna be a tough game with injuries. If we go back to mata and lingard in the starting lineup going to struggle. This is on Ole to show that he is a premier league quality manager and come up with a solution and not just keep trying the same thing over and over that doesn't seem to be working that well on the field. Need to see some sort of progression from the team and something resembling a style of play.

And would help if rashford could actually start putting the ball in the back of the net

With all the injuries should we play a 4-4-2

    ------------------De Gea---------------

    --Awb------Lindelof----Maguire------Young

    --Lingard----McTominay-----Matic----Fred

    -----------Greenwood--------Rashford

How is that a 442? Do you have Fred and Lingard as wingers or was it supposed to be a diamond?

Going for 1-1 here due to our injuries.

I expect James to make the team, so our only real goal threats will be him and Rashford, although Greenwood may get some minutes too.

    Take a draw tbh.
Expect the worst, hope for the best.
Very difficult game, even more than vs Arsenal.

What have we become? This is Westham ffs! For the record, I'm not disagreeing with the above.

No, none of them are wingers, but they can run with the ball and seeing as we are very thin with all the injuries, it might be best way of getting a result. We can change if it's not working.

Not confident. They always raise their game against us and it will be no different this sunday. It's sad how they roll over when facing city but willbe up for it tomorrow. I am predicting a boring game where we will drop points. Given the choice I would gladly take a boring 1-0 where Lindelof scores of his ass.

I'm sorry but that makes absolutely no sense to me at all.

433 or possibly a diamond would work with those players.

Not too confident when we’re missing Martial and Pogba. Score draw.

Hopefully they’ll be back for Arsenal.

With Pogba,Martial and Shaw out injured i would expect just one change from last weekend with Fred to start in place of Pereira. If James is ruled out i would expect lingard to start.

Most likely result looks like a another score draw away from home but i will delighted with any type of win even a very lucky one for Man United.

Exactly what a lot of people thought here. Our squad is so thin that any injury, never mind multiples, leaves us very precarious. Can't see us scoring and keeping a clean sheet looks unlikely too. West Ham will be three points higher than us come Sunday night. Trying my best to hope I'm wrong.

Just dire options. No match winner or someone remotely close from the bench...unless it's Greenwood.

The back four pick themselves (AWB, Lindelof, Maguire, Young). Central mid is McTominay and Fred because we assume Matic isn't going to recover in time to start for at least an hour. Then the forward options are severely lacking. Pereria, Lingard, Mata, Chong, Gomes, Dalot? and Greenwood up for selection next to Rashford.

I think it ll end up 0-0. At the back we re ok, but missing Pogba,Martial and possibly James, we ll find it difficult to score

Is it just me, or does Martial seem to be injured a lot?

This won't be an easy game for us, sadly nothing is these days. I really fear for our sqaud depth. The fixtures haven't even piled up yet and still a lot of injuries. Don't know how we'll cope when the matches start piling up.

No he's actually not. The problem was him being dropped far more by Jose which gave the impression he was out injured
