Don’t know who usually makes these but half an hour in and still no thread tut tut.

Anyway, United 0-1 down already, just tuned in 5 mins ago.

Charlie Wellens Just equalised 1-1. Great assist by Hannibal.

was a good goal. Wellens won the ball, found Hannibal on the right and he put in a low cross which Wellens side-footed home from 12 yards.

Not seen more than 10 minutes but Hannibal could easily be sent off here. Already on a yellow and been involved in a couple of situations afterwards.

Mastny gives Everton the lead. Comes out of his area, misses the header and Everton can roll the ball into an empty net. Goal should have been disallowed after Hannibal wasnt given a clear freekick

I like the look of Hardley. Very composed on the ball and moves out of defense with the ball.

Hannibal has been in a League of his own so far. Bit worried about his temper though - been taken hard a few times without getting freekicks and he is already on a yellow. Could easily get frustrated and get his 2nd yellow. Will be a test for him

Hannibal showing much more of what he can do in this game. Great pressing and overall CM display, but will probably need subbing before he gets sent off.

Lousy defending from the team again, on set-pieces again. Must be frustrating for them. Liked the overall high press and high possession though.

2-3 Hockenhull loses his balance and Tom Cannon rolls the ball past Mastny from a tight angle. We really are awful in defence

Think that was the 12th goal against in 230 minutes of football….every single goal today has been a mistake

Mark Helm with an awful miss - Sotona gets past 2 players and chips the ball towards goal. Helm is almost on the line and heads the ball wide. That ball probably would have ended in goal if Helm hadn't gone for it.

Why was that not a penalty ? Hoogewerf hammers the ball across goal - and Helm was brought down so he couldn't reach it

We are the better side between the boxes - but when we have to work hard to get our chances, we give Everton theirs.

Everton saves on the line. They are lucky to be ahead

Been crap the last 10 minutes. Can't hold onto the ball. Passing has been awful.

I like many of our new players - but I am not entirely convinced by Hoogewerf
Physically he's lacking. Lost the ball alot when the ball has been played into him. Finishing has been off as well. Fish and Hardley both look like real prospects. Hannibal has had some good moments and Sotona has been bright so theres some real positives there.

I think Hoogewerf looks a very good player. Obviously he needs to develop physically and it looks like it might be affecting his finishing and goal scoring. So maybe we could do with a bigger presence up front if results were all that mattered but long term I'd have thought he could be very good.

You're probably right. He does look quite good technically and he had a good goal scoring record at Ajax.

Yeah agree technically he looks good. He's trying difficult stuff and sometimes it's not coming off but you'd expect it probably will in a few months.

What type of player Hannibal is?
All action midfielder, I've seen him play as a holding midfielder & a 10 but I thought he was excellent today playing box to box. He seems to have a fairly high standard in everything you'd want in a midfielder in terms of energy tackling & reading of the play but looks exceptional in terms of timing & weight of passing & drifts past tackles effortlessly. Looks like he has a bit of a Herrera style attitude as well which fans will love & opposition will hate.

I just saw 10 mins at end of first half but he caught my eye. Everything was spot on, touch, one touch passing and simple passing. Maybe I was just focusing on him but thought he was good.

I would have thought that Mejia would have got some game time and does anybody know why Emeran has not been spotted yet?

I have watched 70% of the match.......it was not a bad performance and the referee was totally against us but come on so many mistakes in the defence in every game is just shocking and inexplicable.....i guess we could have scored another two goals but we would have still lost the match.

And hey Mejbri :love-emoji:

Thought we played well, Its at the point now where i try to enjoy the football we play and just accept that even if we score 4, our comicaly bad defence will find a way to concede 5.

Mateo Meija and Noel emeran only ones yet to feature of the new signings?

Weird our defence is so bad. Personnel wise doesn't seem so atleast centrally.
