Inspired by one of the usual - "how many of our players would make the top 6" etc threads.

I thought I would ask this question about our current manager.

Ask yourself the same question. Would you swap solskjaer for Hasenhüttl?

These threads are getting weird.

To make the answer not a definite zero, how many clubs in the Vanarama League would swap managers with us?

In which case, probably zero.

I'd rather have Stephen Hawkings Wheelchair as manager then OGS

West Ham and Leicester have better managers than us ffs.

Bruce is probably the only one and Newcastle could be in front of us if they win today. I can’t think of any other team.

Considering Solskjear was relegated with Cardiff and then couldn't even handle the championship, why would any team in the league in the bottom half take a gamble on a manager with such a track record of failure?

Just look at Moyes after he left United, everyone knew he was out of his depth and now no team in the top 4 leagues would be daft enough to touch him and he was a better manager at the time when he joined United than what solskjear is currently!

Maybe some teams in the Championship would take a swap plus cash deal.

Many in the PL alone.

While not good enough to challenge, there's enough talent in this squad to get some good footy going

DDG
AWB
Maguire
Lindelof
Shaw
Pogba
Martial
James
Mata
Rashford
Greenwood
McTom
Lingard
I feel like this is the issue. We’ve got good names on paper but we just don’t play well as as a team. Why is it we always look like a bunch of strangers on the pitch? I don’t understand it.

Is it that much better than the names the likes of Everton, Leicester, West Ham can field really? Do those teams play scintillating football every week? DDG might look good on paper but he has a negative affect on our actual football if anything.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...

Because our coaching is crap...

Modern footy is increasingly tactical - that's what you're paying a coach to do, to deploy better tactics than the opposition.

The footy forum notion of 'playing for club' and 'running' etc, won't really amount to much if coupled with a manager who's tactically not up to scratch.

What did Southampton do today that was so advanced? They got a draw at home and conceded 21 shots.

That was a very badly chosen example. Hasenhüttl has been very impressive, and has a significantly higher ceiling than Ole does as that motherfecker seriously knows how to coach.

I assume Lampard is probably one of such managers as people have been saying how good Chelsea are? Just drawn at home with Sheff Utd from 2 nil up.

I wonder how moyes would do with this team since they all to be his level. He's never a top manager and at the top we were a top club. Now we're at the same level.

I was replying to this question about us (Man Utd)...

For one thing they made our implementation of pressing look like childs play. Can probably add corner organisation at both ends to that too.

There’s not a single team in the league that would appoint Ole. There’s a reason no one went near him after Cardiff and it’ll be the same reason no one will go near him after United. He’s out his depth at this level.

Or you could say, which manager in the world would want to come and manage us? It’s the poisoned chalice of football with not enough investment or planning from the board
