What can Ole do with the current squad of players to help us improve?

Don't bother with the said poster, I tried and failed myself. He/she genuinely believes we are worse than likes of West Ham, Leicester and Everton so Ole would do an amazing job to get us into Top 6.
 Don't make accusations about other posters that you can't back up.

I think Ole needs to be braver, when he was interim manager he let them loose and for 3 months we were the form team in the league but it changed when he became permanent and it continues this season, there is too much caution in our approach and we are not committing enough players forward, so many times this season you have seen James or Rashford released up the pitch but there is nobody in the box, we need to swarm teams, it will occasionally result in counters against us but that is why I thought we improved the defence with the like of AWB to cover that. Just think especially with the amount of young players you cannot rely on them to convert the scraps they are being fed, they are inconsistent, just flood teams, we will concede but the mentality here should be we will score more than you, we don't have the level of football intelligence in our attacking players to ruthlessly execute on the counter.

Every team in football will have a gameplan or play a certain that suits their strengths or nullify the opponent.
Their are good players at United but no matter how good players are if they step on to the field without some sort of idea of how theyre going to play in the game they'll struggle to even keep the ball.

Ole has been manager for 10 months, for the last 20 games we have played we haven;t looked convincing any and we have continued to play looking like a team that doesn't know what they're supposed to be doing and most our goals are long shots, penalties or scrappy goals.

Messi and Ronaldo could be playing for us and i;m sure we would still struggle in games because its very clear to see Ole wasn't able to get this team playing good football. This is literally the way this team will continue to play until hes replaced.

To put into perspective when Pep arrived at City he had a team that played slow, physical attacking football. 2 weeks in his first preseason game he had them playing tika taka at full pace. Two weeks.
That is because Pep is, by any standards an outstanding coach.
Ole by comparison is very far from an outstanding coach.
I listened to what Ole said about fitness and style of play and that he needed a summer to get his players fit enough to play a pressing style. Wonderful. Apart from the fact that nothing has changed.
We are still not fit enough and we still play the first half at half pace.

I have a sympathy for Ole. Primarily because I blame all of for getting carried away when he came in after what was obviously a new managers bounce.

However, the team don't look coached. There doesn't appear to be a game plan, our version of pressing seems to be running around a lot and there is no evidence from Ole's CV that he's capable of turning this around.

We'd be better off playing pure counter attacking football than whatever the Hell it is we've been doing for 3 games. Just give the other team the ball and refuse to attack until the other team is camped in our half.

He needs to get back to playing that 4-3-3 formation again. I wonder if he has gone into his shell due to Pogba & Martial injuries. Looks to me like he doesn't have the same belief in the backups to play like them.

Matic should not be picked and simply has to stop playing Andreas on the right rather than in the middle.

Has to make subs much quicker in games,he is simply not giving them enough time to make an impact.

Needs to stop Rashford pulling rank on free kicks when his delivery is generally pretty poor.

Not be afraid to bring in Axel for games against bigger strikers because he looks more assured than Lindelof.

Give one of the younger left backs a chance while Shaw is out rather than keep on playing a failed winger there.

Change the style of play. You can't play flowing football with this team. You can't play with a two man midfield. Go to a diamond. Push Pogba up to the top of the diamond.
Put madman Rojo on the left of the midfield. Put Jones instead of Matic. Tell them that job is not try fancy stuff. Just get the ball, pass it and move.
Rojo is a good player when not defending as a lb.
He is quick, can tackle, can dribble and can shoot from long range. Give him limited responsibility and he will do it.
Yes they are going to make mistakes but for sure the opposition is not going to waltz through our midfield.
Pogba without the defensive position is going to play better and create more.
Get our set pieces right. Maguire, Jones, Rojo, Pogba, McTominay are very good headers of the ball. If coached right they will create trouble for the opposition in set pieces.

Clearly what we are lacking is the goals. Players like Mata, Pereira & Lingard just haven’t been good enough overall & also struggling to get involved in our final third. We always see at least 2 of them in our starting XI which is why we are struggling with goals.

The best way to improve our result, we just need to drop one or two of them and playing a player who can offer goals more. Greenwood has been scoring more goals than those three this season, I just don’t understand why Ole hasn’t throw Greenwood into our XI in league game especially with Martial is still injured.

Everyone was shouting "Give him the Job" after winning all those games when he took over from Mourinho. Now these same fans are shouting for his head on a platter.
Do you not think he was let down by Woodward who promised replacements for Herrera and Lukaku and then failing him.
Woodward has to take most of the blame, we have never had such a thin squad and allowing players to go without replacing them will be our downfall.
Forwards:- Lukaku and Sanchez = No replacements
Midfield:- Herrera and Fellaini = No Replacements

A blind man can see that this is where we are lacking this season.

Play Gomes in #10 role consistently. We're struggling to open up teams and lingard provides zero creativity. We don't even lose anything by playing Gomes for lingard.

I would say implement a style of play but honestly don't think he has one. Quite clear that Ole is just relying on moments of individual brilliance to win games. That will only work so many times during a season which Ole clearly doesn't seem to grasp.

If he can persuade, Carrick, mckenna and Co to march straight to Woodward's office and together handle their resignation letter then that would be a massive contribution to united
