This could be a draw or a narrow United snatch and grab. That being said these games we're never a reflection of the form of both teams. So if we by some miracle manage to win it's not going to be a sign of improvement

Liverpool will win 100% but they will win one or two ways.

    1) Hammer United 3 or 4-0
    2) United looking like nicking a draw only for injury time Liverpool winner from either a DeGea error or dodgy penalty.

Thankfully i don't have to watch a United match for another two weeks and if i have anything better to do i won't be watching this game on October 20th.

Despite our winning run and your current issues, I’m still not confident. This is always a struggle. I think I’ve seen Liverpool win five times at Old Trafford since I started watching football 20 years ago.

We are due one but we’ll see how the international break goes for both clubs. Might be the break United need.
Think of when Liverpool beat United 3-0 in Old Trafford when Moyes was manager. United are worse than that now and Liverpool have their best ever Premier league team. When it comes to confidence Liverpool players and management extremely confident of winning this game.

Everything will have to go our way on the day, the atmosphere will have to be like it was in the game last season, Pogba, Martial and Shaw have to be back, Liverpool will have to have an off day....

...you never know in football :wenger:. We might win this and then lose 6 in a row afterwards. Would be hilarious to beat them and blow the title race back open

Put Ole out of his misery now, before you have to do it after the Liverpool game.

If Liverpool role us over at Old Trafford, it will be the most toxic it’s ever been at United.

I personally think today Ole lost all support and his time is now up. Give it Wenger, Allegri, someone who is at least Premier League level management to see us through till we can get someone long-term.

Imagine wishing we lose to Liverpool.
I didn't exactly wish we lose. More or less accepted that we ARE going to lose regardless my wish or not.

The only thing i wish for after the likely defeat is what happened last time around when we went to Anfield.

I hope we batter them but let’s be frank...we have no midfield, no firepower, not an ounce of creativity or a set of bollocks in the squad. I don’t think we will be hammered but 1-0 or 2-0 to those verminous bastards.

This is not even us being negative. We are not going to score, it is just a matter how brave Liverpool are and how much they want to humiliate us.

Liverpool will be pumped up for this game I think. Some record related to victories (not exactly sure) will be set if they beat us

This is not going to end well for us... If they are up for it, it could turn nasty.

At least we are not playing City? They don't stop even if they win.

Don't look forward to this, sorry but I don't one bit. Greatest rivals or not I say we play a' la Sweden national team with 10 men in the box defending for dear life and a fast forward to pounce on our long-ball clearences.

I think it's number of successive wins in the PL era isn't it? they go equal with the record City set last season or the season before if they beat us. It will be fun to stop them by some miracle :D

I think, somehow, this game may not turn out as badly as some may justifiably antipate (me included!).

Don't ask me why... it makes no sense, but it is just a feeling.

    De Gea
    AWB--Tuanzebe--Maguire--Young
    Pereira--McTominay--Pogba
    Rashford--Martial/Greenwood--James

If Martial isn't fit yet then start Greenwood. It might be a bit of a risk to start him so if there's any doubt then go with Mason.

A plucky display keep them out until, last 10, then VAR gives a clear and obvious falling over in box, Dave saves pen, but VAR rules his little toe wasn't on line retake, Dave saves it again , VAR rules players encroach in box, Retake, then they score as Dave gets pissed off and just leaves it in.

It go like that or we might win.. !

Whatever the tactical equivalent of "curl into the foetal position and wait for it to stop" is, I expect that.

Hopefully we wont lose by more than 2 goals. 0-2

But this can really get ugly, I mean 5 or 6-0 ugly.

Football has a funny way of surprising you when you least expect it.

Fancy us to turn Liverpool over (2-1) resulting in them going on an unprecedented losing streak and widespread panic across Merseyside.

    La.

    Under soil heating.
At least the atmosphere will be amazing, even if we lose 10-0.

...and then you get outside the ground and want to jump in the Bridgwater canal.

If Shaw, Wan Bissaka, Pogba and Martial are fit, we'll at least give them a game.

If we put today's lineup out, It's a don't even watch job.

If we're plucky enough and put 11 men behind the ball and everyone plays to their maximum, with a bit of luck we may escape with only a 0-3 loss
