What is a Ole’s or a Glazer era Man Utd manager’s remit?

I was thinking with the glazers not leaving anytime soon, a manager needs to adapt how he does things at United.

There’s certain things that a manager can’t do with limited resources. But what they can do is get the most out of the players and limited resources.

Can’t do
- have £250m transfer windows

Can
- be smart and frugal in the transfer market by having strong network for scouts.
- promote youth, but not rely on them to deliver goods. There needs to be a balance.
- understand what a shit player is.
- motivate and get the most out of players.
- start coaching players to string a few passes.
- if you sell players, at least try to replace them.
- minimising leaving the squad paper thin.
- most important - have some sort of playing style that’s entertaining and gets results. Identify players between 18-26 that can fit into this style.
- learn to be ruthless with players that are out of form or past it.
- know that Woodward doesn’t have a clue about football, so try to feed him with options of players you want to build the team.
- be clear and assertive with board with what you want to ensure they don’t interfere.

Are there they can do with a terrible board? The right manager with limited resources and plan could get us challenging.
