Interesting. Any other players you're willing to provide comprehensive assessments on based on your admittedly small YouTube highlights based viewings?
Yes, he clumsily stumbled his way onto 30 goals and assists.
Honestly, what's your assesment of Pepe so far?

He was absolutely trash last night. That 17 year old looked miles ahead.

He needs more time or do you question his abilities all together?

Think he got the ability. Nerves got to him, the urgency of the premier league made him looks like a terrible player.

Pretty much like Mikhi's case..

We really should be beating mid-table dross like that lot. Pepe is looking lost but he will improve. Emery just isn't the answer.

Pepe is dross. 80m was a waste. Not sure what he's meant to add exactly.

Funny thing is that United fans are thinking the same.

Fair play.

You could have easily said the same thing about Salah while he was at Chelsea.
Somehow i just can't see Pepe making it. He needs a lot of work to make it in the Prem.

As for Arsenal, if your main player - Guendouzi gets injured, you're fecked. He's like half the team.

Can't believe how bad their record at Old Trafford is, last league win in September 2006! Christ even we won there in 2009 and our record generally v Man. United is beyond hopeless.

Was a stat floating around during yesterday's game they last won at OT after conceding first goal in 1977.

Nice, he hasn't even played 7 games and 80m was a waste.
Probably there are people thinking the same about Hazard already.

Love this social media world nowadays.

I said it when he signed he was never worth the fee.

Good week for us. The manager is starting to have selection dilemmas. Hopefully Lacazette is back soon to start his partnership with Auba again.

Arsenal are looking ok, up to third. With Spurs and us being so bad top 4 is looking likely for Emery. I think everyone realises Liverpool and City are on another planet, so it is a who is best of the rest scenario.

Arsenal are lucky Spurs and us are having a mare so far. They've not been great at all. Think they'll have a hard time staying ahead of Chelsea and maybe even Leicester.

It's a good start and a good run of fixtures is coming up where we need to take maximum points. Hopefully we won't spend the full season having 2 shots per game.
The Özil situation is getting ridiculous though, should have been sorted in the summer, let's hope it doesn't become a bigger issue and messes up the squad harmony.

Chelsea and Leicester are playing better football than us this season so far.

You only know the value of something after it's gone.
Wenger leaving isn't the problem (there's a reason rival fans were chanting that they wanted him to stay) it's replacing him with someone else who isn't good enough.

Wonder if Arsenal fans may finally get their wish and get Allegri in the summer?

I'd rather have 1000 bad VAR calls than have this man anywhere near the club. Not sure about Allegri though, when the choice was him, Arteta or Emery i was tempted. Nagelsmann if he was obtainable would be the perfect choice for me.

Never rate Emery. When I first time saw his name to be appointed as Arsenal manager, I was like. "What? This guy? the guy from Valencia?"

He wasn't impressive in my view when he was at Valencia. He did win lot of Europa League but it's nothing compared to CL & the league itself. He won the league with PSG also means nothing in the farmer league.

Mancini & LVG are much much better manager than him IMO.

I think top 4 is still alive for United & Spurs as long as Emery is still the manager of Arsenal this season.

Arsenal should not be resting on their laurels. Spurs are only 3 points off them in 5th place and we are only 2 points behind Spurs.

I think it's important that all 3 clubs don't dismiss Chelsea and Leicester. I think Leicester have to be taken seriously. I realise they have lost Mahrez and Kanté from their title winning squad but they still have a lot if very capable players and Rodgers seems to be getting a tune out of them.

We could really see all 3 clubs failing to make the top 4 this year. Having said that, the Spurs situation has been overblown and Man Utd are a Solskjaer sacking and one teansfer window away from fixing their problems.

I think we've seen enough from Emery now to suggest that he is not the right man for the job. I like the fact that he has dropped Özil, that's a necessary course of action; but there isn't much else about him that gives me confidence (his insistence on playing Xhaka no matter what is of particular annoyance for me).

Bear in mind though that we've had 3 defenders out since the beginning of the season, so he still has some cards to play.

They have a front 3 that should be scoring goals for fun, but it's not clicking well yet.

When was the last time Arsenal actually blitzed a side in the league?

Their squad isn't terrible but Emery doesn't help himself with baffling choices. Ozil for home games, Torreira for Xhaka.

I feel they are avoiding a lot of media coverage because of how poor us and Spurs have been. They have been overall poor this season.

He's buried his head too far in the sand. Toreira Guendouzi Ozil/Ceballos and Tierney-Holding-Luiz-Bellerin. It cannot be any worse than the current situation, why not try it.
