Would you take Zlatan for a year?

Would you take Zlatan back on a short-term deal?

Bradley Wright Philips was MVP there for several years, and he’s not exactly a world beater
So you’d rather no option or zlatan on loan if it came down to it for the second half of the season (we have already had injury problems and we’ve just seen what’s happened to city)

2 games, 2 goals what more can he do?
2 in 3 actually, it's not like he cannot score more than 1 goal per game either, not sure how it all constitutes great when you've got your Pukkis outscoring him. To say anybody from our squad (probably bar James due to playing on a wing/being new to the league/new to the team, etc.) has been 'great' attacking wise is a travesty.

If anyone thinks he'd be happy to play the last 15 of matches, occasionally, over crushing it every week in a stadium full of adoring fans, you're crazy.

If for some bizarre reason he'd be up for it, we'd be crazy to not go for it.
If only Manchester United could attract a 38 year old striker out of semi retirement. If only.

I’d like greenwood, Gomes and Chong to get more game time first and foremost but at the same time someone with Zlatans winning mentality could be useful around the place in the short term

Tammy Abraham is top scorer currently isn't he? Means nothing! Don't compare Pukki to Martial please. He's scored over 50 goals from predominantly LW, imagine if he was our ST since he came to Manchester, he'd probably have double that figure, especially if Jose didn't toss him aside for the Chilean dog walker.

Yeah alright, I admit bringing up goals to evaluate strikers' performances is stupid anyway.

We haven’t been creating enough chances for him anyway, you can’t expect him to take whole teams on like Messi, so right now 2 goals in 2.5 games (he was hobbling for like 30 mins against palace) is hardly a travesty. Blame needs to be focused on what’s behind him.

Well in this case I'm sure you'll agree that we cannot blame Rashford for his shite form as well because you can’t expect him to take whole teams on like Messi and blame needs to be focused on what’s behind him, right?

Rashford hasn’t been up to it (although he’s got 3 goals), but what has Martial done wrong this season? He’s held the ball up well, brought others into play, finished when given chances and if only the Wolves and Palace penalties were given to him we’d have 6 more points. He’s currently the last player who should receiver criticism, seriously... You’re treating him like he’s JLingz or something!

Considering where he is in his career, it’s a risk for him. The last thing he’d want is coming back in January and be a flop. He has nothing to prove and can and lose reputation.

If United called he'd jump at the chance lets be honest, he has publicly said as much. Especially if it was only for a few months when the MLS is taking a break.

I know a team that could use some of this arrogance and creativity.

I would even have Berbatov instead of Mata. He may be at walking pace but he will control the ball and create something for others a lot better than Mata.

Today Zlatan’s statue is unveiled in Malmö and Zlatan writes on twitter that he gives all children in Malmö the day off from school to join the celebration:D

No, he was just a stop gap, did well for one season, then got injured.

We all love United
Sorry for bumping this up as I didn’t want to create a new one

Apparently i am hearing he’s just announced he’s joining Granada in Spain. Is that true?

I'd take Zlatan for a half season, no question. Despite the recent positive performance by Rashford and Martial, we can't rely on them for what awaits us in the second half of the season. We could rely on Zlatan. And qualifying for the CL is, beyond all else, what we must accomplish this season.

Can’t see him coming back. He’s too big of a personality for the manager to deal with.

If it’s a positive personality then it isn’t a problem and there can’t be anyone that thinks he had a negative impact last time around, we need a player for our youngsters to look up to.

He looked totally off the pace in his last months here.

And that was over 2 years ago!

Would love to see him back, but I think we need to look a more forward, even if a aging striker comes but gives us 2 season to blood Greenwood in. Zlatan would absolutely lift the whole place, by just being there. Even if he just stands up front, he'd bully most defenders. But his time as been I think.

It's Zlatan. He has evolved now.
No, that's not a typo.
He's now Zlatan v.3.1. Or something. And he's tired of playing with Fiats, I believe I've read.

A deal until the end of the season would be no harm. His Aura is phenomenal.

He might even slap Lingard for us.

He was coming back from an injury that takes guys half his age longer to recover from. He would be better than our 4th choice striker guaranteed.

I'll take Zlatan on a season long deal in a heartbeat. He's still got it.

Know what he'll do? Score on corners. We don't do that, ever.
