Pretty sure you wouldn't put money on it, you do know who's in charge?
I don't mess with my money let alone on such silly things. I'm sure Southgate will not be out next manager. And yes I'm aware of who is in charge - a guy whose last two managers were from Netherlands and Portugal.

Don't think nationality has anything to do with it just that there is no limit to Woodwards incompetence

So, who's been following Leipzig this season? Anyone got an analysis of their last couple of months?

Would love to see this guy manage Utd one day but feel we will look at someone experienced first. They probably won't play the attacking football we want but need to get back to just winning first.

How long should we wait? It's better we hire him during the summer.

I'd rather wait a couple more seasons to implement a good attacking structure than just another stopgap to get us "competitive" again only to fall apart after a season or two.

Excuses, excuses! Nagelsmann will implement a good attacking structure if he comes to OT.

It's his first season at a semi-competitive club. Maybe give him another...
also, I'd like him to replace Kovac immediately.

Nope. We need him now so we can ruin him so no other club can reap the benefits.

Had a few bad games in October, where they played better than the opposition, but failed to convert the chances/capitalise on the superiority and didnt win the games. The last 2 games were impressive though, dispatched Wolfsburg 6-1 away in the cup and Mainz 8-0 at home last weekend.

The standout thing is they may not be always great defensively, but going forward, they always have chances and scored in every game this season all cups included except against Lyon.

I doubt he will leave Leipzig now in the middle of the season.

The time to go after him or Marco Rose or Ten Haag will be summer. Hopefully we are looking at someone like that.

If anyone wants to see him at work, Leipzig are playing on BTESPN in about 10 mins

The problem would be persuading Nagelsmann to committ career suicide. The entire world can see what a shambles the club is and Mourinho, Moyes and Van Gaal have not exactly hidden the fact that working with Woodward is a complete nightmare.

Nagelsmann would have to be certifiably insane to even consider it.

You clearly have a different mentality to a winner.

How far we have fallen over the years

Just hoping to be considered by RB Leipzig coach
He just joined them this year. It doesn't matter if its us Real or Barcelona, he won't just up and leave them in my opinion.

If Bayern offered him the job right now I'd say he's gone.

He turned them down before going to Leipzig, so I highly doubt that.
Hmm, then I guess he feels himself he's not up for a job of that magnitude just yet. Perhaps a good decision for his own career.

We were late to the party when he was available from Hoffenheim, also he was (still is) very young for a manager at top level. I still can imagine or actually expect him at Bayern at some point.

Bayern is his dream job according to the man himself.
But he won't go there when the timing isn't right. And the timing just isn't right at the moment. He joined his new club only this season. They waited a season to bring him in.

The timing for sure might not be right, but if Bayern come calling, then he might be tempted to leave at the end of the season.

From a United perspective I'd like to see us go for Marco Rose.

I don't think he will leave after just one season, as he doesn't strike as the type to leave his new employers high and dry like that so early.

I agree we have little chance for him if Bayern also want him, whenever the time comes.

Depends which way you look at it. I think managers at United mostly get free pass from our fans and the media (except Jose) and if they fail, they can always blame the board. We are also pretty much the only big club in the world with 0 expectations and standards at this moment. Finish top 4 and you are 100% safe. I think we are quite an attractive destination.

Leipzig's team is tailor-made for him in terms of squad and having been coached by Rangnick previously. He can play in the CL without much pressure, while having a outside chance to compete for league and cup. Leipzig are an ambitious and well run club on the up, who are going to back him. He could have left Hoffenheim earlier but stayed at least one season to finish his time there. I think any club in the world would have to offer an incredible package to get him next summer. Its unrealistic. He knows that all top clubs are going to consider him, if he makes himself available.

Really? That's disappointing.

Doing really well, as everyone expected. Progressing into the knockouts now just a formality, for the first time.
