Well, besides his 18 goals this season, he also have 5 assists. And despite of him being a huge guy, he´s not bad in the build up play at all. He´s a quick passer, and he actually has a decent first touch - which has been crucial for many of his goals.

A lot of teams seem to be after him, included Barcelona and Juventus. If Ole can make him sign for United, it´s a no-brainer, really.
His first touch is really good, no denying that. Still, he is a poacher that needs feeding(the assist kind, not food) similar to Lukaku. I would take his goal tally with a grain of salt, still his positioning in the box is promising. I do not see him as the player to fix our goalscoring problems since we struggle to control the game and creating chances against set defenses. We need to spend our £££ on players that will contribute in all areas off the game --> Hwang.

Well, if he can improve one in those elements that i mentioned he can be really good, but he is not the finished product like the South Korean player. That low center of gravity, ability on the ball and movement would make him an instant asset for our attack and pressing.
If we are going on first takes then I think Minamino looked the best of the bunch. They’ve got some quality there no doubt about it.

We would really struggle against their attack and pressing style. Minamino would be a big upgrade as a right winger, but still think Hwang is the player we should go for first.

Just like signing someone from England is going to turn out to be another shearer.
There’s no guarantee with any player we sign.
I don’t get people - one minute moaning that our scouts are naff because we don’t sign players before they become well known then on the flip side moaning because we might be interested in unproven ‘punts’ from other leagues. Jesus most of this board were against signing James. Now I’d kill to get someone like Haaland getting on the end of his crosses rather than continually having no options in the box and no one making runs

I just hate this whole we need to sign this whole we need to sign so and so because Messi was once the same age or eye colour nonsense.

Yes we don't know how players will turn out but in my opinion last thing we need at the moment is more gambles .

We have more than enough players who may be great in a few years time in all positions . What we need now is players who can make a difference now and in turn help the younger players have more time to be ready and put the team in a better position to attract better players

A player like Jamie Vardy makes far more sense to me than Haaland. If we can't get him then a similar player the right age temperment and proven to come in and deliver

They lost five regulars, all to bigger leagues.

Most notably, top scorer Dabbur. Also skipper Lainer, striker Gulbrandsen and two great midfield prospects in Schlager and Wolf. All of them were nailed on starters.

Most of the guys who impressed against Liverpool yesterday were not regulars last season. Haland only broke through in the spring and still featured only occasionally, Hwang was out on loan, Minamino was a squad player. He featured a lot but was not a regular.
Salzburg played 4-4-2 under Rose: Dabbur and Gulbrandson in front of Wolf. Schlager as left CM Sammassekou as DM. Lainer as RB

Dabbur -striker- 37 goals 16 assists
Gulbrandson - striker - 12 goals 8 assists
Wolf - OM- 11 goals 12 assists
Schlager -CM-8 goals 4 assists
Lainer- RB-1 goal 9 assists
Sammassekou -DM/CM -2 goals 2 assists
Haidara -CM- 3 goals 6 assist (left in Jan)

Salzburg lost 6 starters, 71 goals 51 assists in the summer and another starter with Haidara in Jan.

Haaland was bought in Jan. to replace Dabbur, Bernede to replace Sammassekou
Hwang and many others spent the season on loans.
Wöber and Kristensen were bought for defense in the summer

Salzburg had to build a new team over the summer and the offense is already scoring at will, but should become even better.

Do you believe that Håland has the potential and ability to come to a team like ours (if he chooses) and do well?

Hwang is a good player, but I´d rather add som physics and someone with goal scoring abilities. Haaland does not waste many chances.

I have no idea where he got his looks from. Probably a mix of mom and dad.

He has absolutely bossed Napoli so far! His power is ridiculous for a kid of his age and when added to his anticipation, explosiveness over 5 yards and clinical finishing he has all the hall marks of a generational talent!

Watching him for the first time, he is really good. Always on the move, built like a tank and his awareness of what's around him is really good. For a young player he is very impressive.

Apart from all this, he works really hard for the team.

From what I see, he is what we wanted Lukaku to be.

If we sign him, we should definitely bring in his korean partner in crime as well.

He is so strong, won physical battle with Koulibaly. Made him to look like ordinary CB.

He has looked like a top prospect player for a while, it baffles me why Ole Solskjaer hasn't already put a deal in place to sign him for this club as he is quality.

Ole had this kid under his nose for two seasons, why didnt we try and sign him for the 20 mil or whatever they wanted? Could've always loaned him out if he wasn't ready for the prem.

He's now scored more goals from open play in his Champions League career than Eden Hazard.

It's not like Ole isn't aware of him.

Either we did try to sign him and the media never got wind. Or we didn't try to sign him because Ole knows something we don't, having seen the player up close in training.

Or, I suppose, a third option is that we're in touch with his agent, and the club has been told that Haland isn't interested for the time being. So we haven't bothered to make our interest official.

Everytime I watch him bloody hell I'm impressed, such great control and wins everything in the air and has a decent acceleration about him too

I'd be on the phone to Red Bull right now asking what figures do you want If I was Ed Woodward
