Anyone else not enjoying this because we didn’t make more signings?

I am finding a common theme that I start to lose interest whenever injuries start cropping up.

Every year at some point we either have no defence, or no midfield, or no attack and we have to play with square pegs in round holes and Ashley Young makes his triumphant return to left/right back.

Sick of it to be honest.
If we are being honest we don’t really have a decent midfield or attack with everyone fully fit, let alone with injuries.

Enjoying it a lot. Just be patient, Ole absolutely deserves another 5 years to implement his ideas. We found another SAF, don’t worry. What a stupid thread.

Said it before and got berated for it but we were absolute idiots for letting Dybala go. “He saw us as a payday” yet he was willing to go to Spurs. I want top players on this team. I’m sick of this premier league proven, try hard garbage. Let’s sign Joshua King because he’d run buckets for us and give his all instead of Bale

How do I enjoy making these threads?

Well what happens is, throughout the season I am mocked by people like you. People who are negative and don’t get United. Then when I am proven right, I make a thread about it. And people call them “shitty” and call me a WUM, but deep down I know they feel a deep amount of shame. They know that I have bested them. They know that I understand more and they wish they could be more like me but alas, they’ve already made their choice. So they pout and whine but... they know, and so do I.
Worth quoting every time this is bumped.

You’ve got the two reactionary halves of United fan on here.

The half that proclaim “we’re back” in the manner of our Scouse ‘friends’ down the road during pre season and after we win our first game

The half that call for the manager to be sacked every time we lose

I’m still confident the club finally DO have a vision. The back five plus McTominay is fine for top four at least. What we need to do is sign the flair we need next Summer.

I'm enjoying the fact that we're bringing on the next generation of MUFC class of 92'-esque players.

SAF had a worse start to his managerial career than OGS has had, I'm happy to take our time and let him have more than a single transfer window to remake the team. Patience in both victory and loss.

If he was anymore willing to go to Spurs than here, he'd be at Spurs. Both clubs wanted him and both pulled out. There was obviously a reason for that. Spurs weren't exactly shy of spending money in the summer. They've spent hundreds of millions on a bunch of players they barely even use.

Hundreds of millions on a bunch of players this summer? They purchased 2 players for the first team squad, Sessegnon who was injured in preseason, and Ndombele who got injured early into the season.

I'm not enjoying this one bit and it's got nothing to do with a lack of signings. I would have liked 2-3 more if I'm honest because to see my team compete, that's what is needed. But my lack of enjoyment is coming from shite football, shite results and uninspiring management/coaching.

Yes, for a tom of money...and the Aehentinian who's name I can't even remember. They didn't sign Dybala, despite clearly wanting to, so it's probably time to stop peddling the myth that he went there instead of here. Clearly there were other issues and either neither club could sign him or it would just have been too expensive or too risky.

It's boring reading myth or inventionism arguments on here over and over. You can't reason with or debate a made up argument.

Time for another bump!

Imagine how the Christmas period is going to go with this anorexic squad...

This is from the Post Match Newcastle thread.

You look at the eleven we put out today - we are not better than Newcastle.

I lay hardly any of the blame for that at Ole. But that squad is seriously horrendous and it’s gonna need a lot of spending to improve.
Bit confusing.

Don't even make me think about this.. When fans say we cant go down, they cleary have not seen the squad depth.

Why's Wumminator called a WUM? His concerns were valid after the great win over Chelsea.

Not happy with how we seem to have the worst injury record and have a crisis almost every year. Without the injuries, we still might have a half-decent team.
