He shouldn’t be starting for us. But here we are relying on this guy to get us goals and assists.

That's what should be happening to the crosses James has been putting in for us. Sadly none of our attackers have any movement in the box.

Damn, I hope he is alright! That was a nasty incident...

I really love this kid though, has heart and balls of steel. I've never witnessed him shy away from a challenge, very brave in almost all situations I've seen him.

Welsh medical team and the match officials all need to be fired on the spot, absolutely disgusting.

People wonder why players and clubs lie to get out of these pointless internationals. They should all be fired for that decision.

Oh it's a knee to the back, I guess it could be worse, he could be stabbed in the back with a knife.

He was apparently out cold, if so he should be removed from the game simple as that, no matter how brief it may have been.
If he was out cold I’d totally agree, no arguments. I just think he was down wondering what the feck happened. Watch it again though while not great the guy from behind hit him with his knee in his back. No head collision anywhere and I’m watching the game, this isn’t a player dazed doing his best under those circumstances he looks fine.

He looked out in the clip, and it could have been the impact with the ground that caused it rather than the oppo player.

I just hate how the issue of concussion isn't taken seriously enough in the sport in general (not you).

There was no reason for that "Grow a pair" part to be fair, even though I'm not disagreeing much with your opinion here.
Sorry pal, I don’t usually get personal though I have been personally called many times on here and try to refrain from that. I’m watching with a beer or 3 ;)

I don’t think club or country take that risk much anymore in football, not too sure about other sports. Been watching a lot of the rugby World Cup and they are very serious about it now. American football from what I’ve read though don’t watch it.

Looked KO'd to me. Knee to the side of the head. Was basically limp in the air and his head and arms bobbing around as he struck the ground.

Is he out of for the Liverpool game then?

Can't play for a week if you've sustained a head injury. Happened to Salah didn't it?

But then since he didn't come off maybe he'll be allowed to play, so we'll benefit from the incompetency of the ref / Wales medics.

Horrific decision nonetheless.

Don't know why people are stressing for Liverpool game. We are losing this one with or without him. We are an absolute shambles and they are flying. It could be an absolute horror show if they score in first 15/20 mins.

Giggs just said it was a bit of acting and they did tests at half time and he was.....fine.

this is an idiotic answer, the location of the impact is irrelevant.

They head injury which knocked him out, was either caused by the "Jolt" to the head caused by the impact in the back, or the head colliding with the pitch. He clearly had a head injury and was let down by both officials and the welsh management.

So the fact he said he’s fine, the fact giggs said he was acting and that they complied with all tests half time makes you right and them wrong Dr Salazar?

Of course he said he is fine, if not he is hanging out his manager, of course the manager said he was fine and defended his actions. The point is he was out cold on the pitch and no player should continue after that. How many boxers have stood up and said "I'm fine, I'm fine" after being knocked out???

My point is saying "Knee to the back so def not a head injury." is idiotic, as there are other variables that mean it could be a head injury, and him being knocked out suggests it clearly was.

He stayed down to try and get the other player in trouble, there was no damage

Stop being a drama queen.

Do you really think if he suffered any damage at all the first player they would send out for an interview would be him?

He played fine in the second half and will play for united at weekend unless Phil Jones cripples him in training.

Football has a ridiculous amount to learn about head injuries. Absolutely ridiculous.

I don't care about the small number of fakers (who could get in trouble subsequently) - there should be a 'free' sub for a head injury like that.

This wasn’t a head injury though but agree with your point of it wasn’t related to this incident.
