I said exactly the same thing last year. You were so busy ranting that you probably didn't notice.
 possibly.

Honestly, I just think the quality is so poor around the globe. Teams simply can't tour and it has nothing to do with tosses and conditions.

@zing still think its a flat wicket?
I think SA are a poor batting team plus scoreboard pressure. My opinion is the same regardless of them making 100 or 500. I don't think there was ever a danger we were not going to roll SA over. We always get results at home - it's just that half the match is attritional and has been the case for as long as I watched cricket.

Is India at home the last 10-15 years one of the toughest match-ups in sport?

Bit like Nadal at the French.

So India play WI away, SA, Bangladesh, NZ away, Aus away, Eng home in this championship..

NZ, Aus away will be interesting.. no idea what the teams will look like by the time England visit next

Feels a bit like not a lot of test matches..

Saha has always been a brilliant keeper. I think the controversy around Pant has made people notice/talk so much about his skills.

So with South Africa being so poor, whats the point in having conditions favour bowlers from day 1? The Saffers themselves stated that this pitch was similar to those they're used to.

I was going to do a comparison between Kohli and Smith, the former averages 64 in his last 50 matches, the latter... 75 .

India are incredible at home and rapidly improving away from it. Should dominate the game going forward.

Good job on the site. Are you a one person show running the site? How are you sourcing the data? I think the updates are not instantaneous like Cricinfo etc.

Also, you may want to create a lite version for better mobile content consumption. But good job overall.
Very decent. The layout could definetely be better though. Are you planning to launch a mobile app or website too?
Thank you. It is only a one man show at the moment.

The updates need to be tweaked as the plugin currently only supports a single function -working on it, as well as the mobile app.

To be fair, Smith seems to enjoy killing India and England. The English bowlers don't even bother trying to get him out any more in the last couple of Ashes, while I hope the Indian quicks will do better now they are actually decent.

That being said, he is easily one of the test GOATs

We got him out for 20 in the last innings!

Why is Nadeem playing and not Kuldeep?

Just started watching some time back. Nice pitch. Did Rohit get to 40 playing like this..

Kuldeep had a shoulder problem yesterday in training.

Rohit sharma is a class batsmen. This could be his second coming in tests if he keeps on scoring centuries like this.

I dont know about that. Maybe have him open at home only.
You never know. I know opening in tests is totally different from ODIs but still the guy has insane record in ODIs too even away from home so he might actually do a solid job there too. I would any day have rohit open than see rahul or vijay or dhawan again. Shaw is a curious case and he may be the answer but I would let him come back slowly.

You could well be right. I guess we'll know more by the time we tour New Zealand.

SA are just really really bad. Take nothing away from Indian bowlers but they've lost 14 wickets in 66 overs and would be lucky to last 90 overs. Imagine getting bowled out twice in one day! And it's not like there are demons in this pitch
