The likes of Estonia, Liechtenstein, San Marino and Gibraltar need to merge their football teams. Maybe one day they might produce a half decent footballer between them and win a game.
Estonia had a good team not so long ago, reached play offs for Euro 2012.

I love how we have got further in terms of qualifying to major tournament in last decade, than Norway :P Anyway we have very decent patch of boys coming up atm. U17 squad been owning as of late.

Bale is still a great player.
Always is and he deserves to have one last crack at a top club where he gets to lead the line as the main attacker so he can go out with a fantastic career at a couple of clubs under his belt.

That won't happen at Real Madrid.

Whilst I do recognise he is injury prone - I just don't think it would be as bad if a club used him the way he gets used for Wales.

Consistent games, plays a more basic but involved game through the centre so he can build an understanding and tempo with a team that creates chances for him to finish.

His ability to score goals and just be a general centre forward is underrated.

He can be as good as lewandowski for a team, be like aguero for City or even like how Zlatan was for us on the short term. That might be exaggerated - but I view him as a CF.

It's a shame we couldn't take him early on in the season - now that we are looking like a championship club we look desperate & I don't know if we can entice him unless he is desperate himself.

He could be a good idol to players like Rashford & Greenwood who had a bit of acceleration in their play and need to focus on their ability to run and finish the way bale does with consistency.

Further? We were in the playoffs for the last Euros. You can't go further without actually qualifying!

Good point for Wales.

Will come down to winning last two games like the last campaign, away to Azerbaijan and home to Hungary.

They need Slovakia too lose also one is away to Croatia so pretty likely, the other is at home to Azerbaijan which is a bit of a gimme.

Hate this. We could have booked the euros tonight but now we need a point in the last game with both Vida and Lovren out.

Just seen the Petrovik one again, absolutely intentional to take him out the filthy animal.
O come on....:lol:. You have dozens challenges like that. That big Welsh striker did it couple of times. But our players are not pussies i guess and they just play on. ;)

There was a bit of shenanigans right from kick off, he came back to wipe him out. Intentional and red card but I’m biased ;)

Wales scored a goal after clear foul. Shall we talk about that?
You got a lucky point and you have nearly everything in your hands. Be happy about that

Who's Petrovik?
Clear foul on Kovačić before their goal but then again ref could have awarded them a pen before after Lovren challenge (idiot then said something to the ref and ruled himself out of next game) and Vida high kick could have been red.

They need only to Slovakia don't win against us. Which they will not:)
I'm looking forward to that game. The 4-0 thumping was a great display from you, but I have a feeling Slovakia may surprise some in the return fixture. I've seen all their games so far this tourny and I think they have it in them to cause an upset.

Obviously I'm not fully expecting Slovakia to win, but I wouldn't rule it out either!

Yup. It's football and it's a shame we haven already qualified. Anything can happen, especially with out cb standard pair out. In any case we can go through even with a defeat if Wales beats Hungary.

Both Vida and Lovren are suspended? Who will probably step in against Slovakia then?

Good question. Ćaleta Car had a disagreement with Dalić and didn't get called up last 3, 4 games, hopefully it will get sorted before Slovakia cause he'd be a good choice. As for the 2nd CB it's anyone's guess, Jedvaj who played RB yesterday, Mitrović or Perić from Dinamo.

Slovakia's backup CB is suspended due to a red against Wales, and I'm not sure if they're regular CB that partners Skriniar in Vavro will be back from suspension either. Their options are so thin at CB they had to recall Skrtel who barely lasted half an hour in their friendly against Paraguay!

Either way, I think it'll be a good game! Nothing against your team, but I'm hoping it's more competitive this time :D

That sounds good! They'll also have problems. :)
No problem mate, it's always better when it's more competitive unless it's your own team. :)

BTW does Northern Ireland has any chance of going through?

Vavro will be back, yes, he got 1 game for cumulated yellows. Skrtel just had a farewell game, so this was planned all the way through. Also, they have another option besides Skriniar and Vavro in Valjent, who playes regularly at CB at Mallorca, who got promoted to La Liga this season.

Croatia hardly ever lose at home and still need points to get through so I'd be amazed if they went to Zagreb and won.

Charlie Corluka coming out of retirement would be my guess for the CB solution. ;)

You ended 2nd with 16 Points from 10 matches - Norway ended 3rd with 16 Points from 8 matches (and lost 2nd on gd to Portugal) - so yes you are right....in a way….

And he would better than brainfart "wanna be hard man" Lovren. Vida got yellow, and Lovren knowing Vida is off for next game, does everything in his power to be off now too. What a bellend. Or is it bell end?

For some reason I went down a bit of a Euros rabbit hole at lunch time and watched some highlights of old games.

This was the pinnacle... to this day still one of the greatest and most bat-shit mental games of Football I've ever seen.

Turkey were great value at this tournament.
