I can accept your post if you havn't watched many games live this season but if you have and you're saying it's too early to panic then I'm truly loss for words. We are playing the most dire shit I've seen in my lifetime and we have literally sunk so low we couldn't even draw against Bruce's Newcastle. It's definitely time to panic, this could become a nightmare pretty soon if changes are not made.
Watched all of them of course. Just one at OT though, if that was what you meant with "live"?
I thought we looked OK until the injury bug hit. Thats a separate discussion though.
But we have too thin of a squad and that injury crap was going to happen sooner or later during the season, hopefully we will be better in that regard from now on.
And we have been a ltb unlucky as well. I hate shite like xG but that does form some context on whats been going on. And we look pretty good there.
So I dont agree we have playing "dire shit". We try to stand high and press the ball. I will take that over Mourinho-ball anytime.
Its far from a done system yet and we dont have the players for it completely. Neither did Klopp once upon a time for the system he wanted to play.
Its not all black. Yet.
Cheer up a bit)

I agree the incomings haven't been too bad performance-wise. However, we didn't replace a lot of the outgoings, and their stand-ins have been poor. Especially the midfield and striker positions.

I do have problems with the incomings purely on the basis of money spent and priority, though.
I agree about the amount of players out and the lack of players in myself. I personally think the 2 defenders where a priority, but we needed at least 1 midfielder (ideally 2), a right sided midfielder/forward and a striker.

We need to spend another 200m to get our team firmly top 4 again IMO and probably another 200m to challenge for the title. It's grim times as I just don't see that type of money being released. I can see half that at most.

Nah I didn't mean OT by saying live, apologies about that shit and just forget I even said that I know you've watched them all but it slightly annoys me when you and many others say it's too soon to panic. Come sunday there is an actual chance we might be in the relegation zone with 9 games played. Even if you don't agree with me that we've been playing abyssmal the results and stats in the games speak for themselves. We create nothing, keep piling up all these injuries and just all around things are looking pretty damn awful. Thin squad as you said but I'd add to that a poor squad as well.

I think changes need to be made before we find ourselves actually fighting for relegation.

My god, it's scary to read that first post and see how similar it is to our situation now  LVG going into the season with Rooney as his main striker was a big mistake. Ole going into this season with just Rashford, Greenwood and Martial looks to be a similar error.

Maybe the true scary part is that the higher-ups didn't learn anything from the last time.
