Good engine on him. Tenacious. Needs to iron out some defensive habits. Needs to also stop watching how Shaw attacks. He suffers from the same mental block that Shaw does in the final 1/3

I love how comfortable he looks at dribbling/carrying the ball forwards.

He was good, but can be even better. I like that he was making runs, unfortunately our midfielders are incapable to play a simple pass between the lines.

He's actually wonderful in the final third but that happens when he plays in a system that works. In fact I imagine Shaw would be decent going forward under someone like Pep too.

I like him. Defensivly he's a bit of a liaibility but he's fiery, seems confident and has more attacking intent in his little toe than Young and Shaw combined. I like the cut of his jib, will be interesting to see how he develops because I personally think Shaw sits in Tier 2 in terms of needing to be phased out/upgraded; if we can save a fortune on doing so by developing Williams that would be excellent.

Did he even give a cross once? Saw Dalot put in some good balls from the other side.

Seems physically more prepared for professional football than the other youngsters.

Cross to who?

There was never anybody in the box. Dalot's balls were nice but there must have been 1 player in there.

Brandon was the only silver lining tonight.

Played 2 games for us now, bout time he got a player performance thread.

Thought he done well today. Hopefully he can keep Young out of the side moving forward.

Tbh hes really capable in the final 3rd. There were a couple of occasions in the first half where usually you'd see him cut the ball back or put in a decent cross but the ball ran out of play due to the surface. He's pretty good at crossing with his weaker foot too which is really useful.

Good thing he extended his contract so we can waste X amount per week on wages, instead of just promoting this kid on lower wage.

He's raw but there's potential there, good engine, quick, looks to make overlapping runs.

Senior debut (as a starter), clean sheet. Surely we were shit in attack, but Brandon definitely wasn’t the main reason for this, and defensively he did Ok. Good for his development at least

Very raw, I do like his energy though. He has a lot to learn but he did ok which is encouraging. Needs to work on his crossing and his left foot if he wants to make it at lb. We should make him watch videos of Lahm :D

I really like his style. He works really hard, is up and down the wing all game but he has a really nonchalant slickness to him at the same time.

He's the first LB I've seen in a long while who actually looks to make overlapping runs for us. That alone makes his movement lightyears above that of Shaw or Young. Want to see him develop here.

Let’s hope they don’t feature on the next Greenwood video
