Of course it is. The further you are from sports based on almost pure athleticism (running, etc.), the bigger the application of statistics will be.

Boateng was the right call. The fact Mourinho wanted him for 50m at the beginning of his last season was bonkers. Everybody could see he's on his last legs.

Joao Felix - Great young talent but for £120m? that's a huge risk. Not something we are in the position for.

Both correct decisions IMO.

We could have a supercomputer and still end up with Boateng and Drinkwater so long as Woodward plugged it in.
