Didn't we have a similar injury pile up under moyes in the first few months and had the same type of fitness bootcamp style of training like Solskjear's?

How would that explain teams like Simeone's Atletico?

Feels like many of these injuries have happened because they cannot cope with Ole's intense training

Was a bit surprised to read this. Because we didn’t get our traditional “every central defender at the club out at once” crisis I didn’t realise we picked up so many injuries. These stats certainly make a mockery of the idea that running much less than other teams somehow prevents injuries. Evidently not.
It’s interesting in many ways. One of them is comparing to the injury statistics under Ferguson 1988-1990.

What's nuts is it seems that we only have two extremes:

1. Be really unfit and be outrun by every team every week

2. Be slightly less unfit and have everyone injured.

This has now been true across 4 managers and a string of different players. Why can every other side manage what we can't?

Somebody definitely has to be held accountable.

I'm not sure how things go on behind the scenes but surely we have fitness and medical specialists that obviously arent doing their job at all.

Can anyone explain how can professional player injure himself during the warm up? They literally do nothing demanding during the warm up. And it happens at least two or three times every season to our players.

We've had an injury crisis every season going back to at least 2006-07. At that point it's no longer a coincidence - there's certainly an underlying factor involved.

We occasionally have a wave of injuries every now and then but this is beyond the ridiculous. We now have players who get injured during the warming up as well.

Maybe the issue isn't really about fitness (fitness regimes had changed throughout the past 6 years) but more about the players attitude

I know. But to say it's because they've lost the dressing room. come on, Dev.

Look we've seen the fitness regime change in numerous occasions in the past 6 years or so but this problem still persist. Now either we are stupid enough to keep retaining a whole set of injury prone players. Else we've got players who don't mind bailing out when things start getting tough for us.

Come on mate you don't get injured during warming ups

Yeah, the bit about it being because Ole has lost the dressing room is absolutely hilarious. Maybe he has, maybe he hasn't, but to suggest it's why Taunzebe got injured in the warm up for example is impressive mental gymnastics.

It would be hilarious to think like that if its seen in isolation. However if you take the full context of it then it becomes less ridiculous. Our best players are injured, our team is struggling to beat even the easiest of opponents (Rochdale, Astana etc) and we're losing points left, right and centre. Sure this is not a great side and there's a huge possibility that Ole is not a great manager. However some games should be won easily by this team even on autopilot.

No, it is ridiculous. The rest of your post about struggling to beat teams and losing points etc has nothign to do with the original ridiculous point you made about injuries. Let it go, Dev.

as said, you need to see the whole picture. I want Ole gone more then the next guy but even I admit that he was doing far better in his first few months. Now results are going to the shitters, players are vanishing in the treatment room and we're struggling to beat the easiest of sides. Is that all a coincidence?

Do you believe Taunzebe is injured because Ole has lost the dressing room?

First of all I said may, secondly as said you need to take the whole context not just 1 episode. You do have to admit that its extremely rare for players to get injured during warming ups.

More empty generalities about 'context'... It's actually not that rare for players to get injured in warm ups, and certainly not indicative in the slightest that it's because of the manager losing the dressing room.

Do you know what common sense means? What you said has zero common sense. May be you should provide a better explanation how Tuanzebe’s injury was because Ole has lost the dressing room.

The injuries started during our winning run last season. There's zero evidence of the players having a bad attitude right now. Just poor quality.

Our injuries were attributed by Ole to a poor fitness regime, months later a big chunk of our squad is injured so I guess the problem lies elsewhere. Meanwhile our results are at the shitters and we're struggling to beat even the likes of Astana, Newcastle and Rochdale.

Now I am not saying that Ole has definitely lost the dressing room. There's a good possibility that he's a shit manager. However, he did got far better results at the beginning and some games we lost should have been won on autopilot. That's all I have to add to it.
