Really looking forward to seeing this next week. It's been getting rave reviews from all the critics and I have been waiting for a good intelligent horror movie to come out and this seems to fit the bill.

I loved it. One of my favourite films of the year so far. Luckily i watched the trailer after the film because it gives away everything.

Saw it tonight. Holy sh, just watched the trailer just now, dont watch that if you plan on watching the movie. Seriously.
I would have remembered it and it would have spoilt the movie / experience and what to expect.

Really enjoyed it, just because it felt fresh (nice that it wasnt a remake, reboot, sequel, etc).

Havent seen the trailer.. The he imdb genre says
horror/mystery .. is it horror or mystery? If its horror, I'm out. if its mystery with some creepy bits, I want to watch it.

Its hard to define. But its one of my fav movies of the year and in a long time in terms of originality to a movie.

Watched this the other night and thought it was excellent. It feels very refreshing, especially going into it knowing hardly anything about it. The amount of things that you can look back on at the end and realise is great, there's basically no filler and everything has relevance. Also feels nice to have a clever main character in a 'horror' movie. Top film.

I thought it was pretty good but not as good as I expected going by the reviews, same applies to The Void.

Bit of an old bump this, but I have this on my watch list. The other half hates gore in movies, but I've heard that this is more on the jumpy horror side. Shall I watch it without her?

It's more just creepy. Couple of somewhat gory bits but nothing actually horrifying in that respect. It's also just a really good film!

Creepiest bit for me involves milk.

It's Ok, not that scary with minimum amount of gore in it.. 6,5/10 good watch though..

Supremely impressed by this when I saw it the other day, so intelligent in so many ways.

I really liked the movie.
I actually was glad they went with the ending they did instead of the original one which can be found on youtube.

Watched this a second time cos I was stuck for something to pass the time (night feeds for a 7 week old baby lets you blast through all your to-watch list). I actually still enjoyed it second time round, some nice nods and foreshadowing going on throughout. All there in plain sight once you know the ending but completely baffling on first watch.

Yeah, like the lengths his girlfriend goes to so the cop doesn't check his ID at the start of the film. First watch you just think she's cool, second is altogether more sinister.

It's a horror comedy satire about white middle-class racism. I would give it the oscar just for that

Yeah and even things like asking if he smokes in front of the daughter. Its not that she thinks he's a bad influence, smoking will make him a less than perfect host and the daughter has probably been instructed to pick out healthy specimens.

Welcome to Manchester reception committee
I saw this on C4 a couple of days ago, and watched it without knowing anything other than the Rotten Tomatoes rating (98%) and I thought it was really good. Sure, it peters out a bit after the big reveal, but that's kind of inevitable in a way after the slow reveal we've been watching and enjoying up to that point. So many good scenes and well worth a watch. It will repeat on 4seven on Tuesday at 9pm - not sure why it's not appearing on the catch-up lists at the moment.

PS - I'm now about to abuse by moderator powers and put the trailer in the opening post into a spoiler warning :smirk:
