He's tabulating the figures.

With that said, I wouldn't cross the road to watch Seth Rollins. Boring bastard.
Wouldn't go that far but I agree, Seth Rollins isn't a draw. He'd still sell a shit ton more tickets for any event than Riho though.

Unless it was a pretty little liars convention.

So New Japan are coming to America.

Be interesting to see how AEW fanboys react.

New Japan seem very late to the party. They dont have any stars for America anymore and their ticket sales went down in the US with the more events they do.

Must be wanting to compete with Impact and Ring of Honor for #3 promotion, perhaps NWA if they get a tv deal from their youtube show

I mean, he's 49 now, and hasn't wrestled for...about ten years? But I loved Monty Brown, and I will watch this match.

Whilst I agree they're somewhat late to the party (though in their defence, when would it have been a good time? Bullet club? Had ROH for that), I think they're brand of wrestling is a true alternative.
IMO in terms of style, theyre something in the middle of NXT and Dynamite/smackdown/raw.

People who simply want to watch good wrestling will surely tune in. Don't think AEW/WWE will be worried though.

I hope the street prophets know the person that baby belongs to, or did he just come across random lady with baby in crowd and take it off her hands.

When Kenny was champ a year or more ago

The problem is if its new guys and not the normal New Japan wrestlers. And the name suggests thats what it is, else it would just be a tour of the US or something.

The normal New Japan guys would put on some great matches. New guys that arent part of the normal New Japan roster very much less so

Felt this last week and feel it again this week, I genuinely enjoy watching AEW dark more than Dynamite.

Latest NWA power, weakest one so far. Still some good matches but the Tim Storm story line didn't do anything for me. I did chuckle at the new ads though.

I can dig that ending to NXT.
Dynamite continues to be fun.

I do wish Dynamite was opposite Raw though.

Rollins should probably avoid trading shots, he always ends up on the losing side of verbal battles.

He said a few days ago that Omega is "playing around in the minor leagues". JR's rebuttal to that today was "Maybe someday he will be over as his girlfriend."

I started a mini review of both shows, but I havent finished the NXT show yet so I'll post it when I'm finished instead.

I liked AEW a lot, and Ive liked NXT up to the Forgotten Sons match so far.

Ratings are in, AEW ahead of NXT by 265k viewers. It was 302k, 228k and 518k in the previous weeks going back to their debut. So the 2nd smallest viewer advantage over NXT, with AEW week 2 being the smallest.

So it was pretty normal but with both shows repeating the pattern of declining numbers each week and this being the first time AEW has had less than 1 million viewers. There was big competition from baseball this week so its understandable for both shows to be down and theres going to be a lot of weeks with good competition for ratings, so this obviously isnt a one off.

Tbf, omega said something along the lines of everyone in NXT would be wrestling in dark matches in AEW.

In retrospect, that's a pretty good line considering AEW dark has arguably had better matches than Dynamite.

Balór with one of the best heel turns in years. Finally he might get some decent booking as Vince isn't there to feck it up.

Just seen that Sky have passed on renewing with the WWE. The RAW just gone only had 3,000 viewers. Apparently, they lost 35,000 in a week.

For comparison, the iMPACT just gone did 77,000 in the UK, which also beat AEW.

Yeah, that's what I heard. Even though I don't watch WWE anymore it'll be weird not seeing it listed on Sky Sports anymore.

He did walk it back afterwards saying he didnt mean everyone and specifically mentioned the likes of Matt Riddle as people he wasnt talking about. Riddle and Gargano would probably be main eventers, Io Shirai would be in the womens title picture other than that the rest would be padding the card. And yes everyone appears on AEW Dark

That was a hell turn I genuinely did not see coming... Like most of the time you think "he could smack his partner here" just 'cos its wrestling... but yeah, didn't for a second see Balor kicking Gargano.

NXTs womens division absolutely shits all over AEWs, objectively. It's not even a contest.

UE, Riddle, Gargano, Ciampa, Balor, Dream, Dunne, probably even Keith Lee would all main eventing dynamite. Kushida and Rush are there too.

I know he's roided up to the last but he's a tough looking bastard. Was his match with Impact any good?

It was alright... not great though, they tried to be too ambitious... and it went about 2 or 3 minutes longer then it should have.

I was actually wrong here. AEW did infact beat Impact in the UK.

From the past week:
AEW: 232,000
Impact: 77,000
RAW: 3,000

Is that the first viewing? Or total from viewings ?
Just had a search and couldn't find anything, mate. I assume it's from first viewing.

AEW's numbers are quite impressive regardless because, over here in England, I believe you have to wait until Friday night for the latest episode, and I bet there's many like me who don't wait and watch it on Thursday. Plus, it's on ITV2, too. I wonder how they'd do live on ITV1.

Just seen the Inner Circle's promo before Hager's fight last night. Ortiz: "I'll stab him!"

I didn't watch, but apparantly Hager purposefully got himself DQ'd in his fight with a kick to the balls just for the wrestling heat
