Seems English teams including City are taking their time to grow into the CL this year. Even City haven't exactly been at their blistering best in the two games we have had. I think all will get through in the end including Spurs but I feel it has something to do with the excessive demands of the PL. Teams seem to be tired and almost want to use it as an excuse to have a break whereas the foreign teams obviously may be fresher because they have less demanding leagues are able to play at 110% like its a cup final?

They were robbed wth?! They got pumped after Vidal came on

And funny coming from a Juventus fan where they get all the dubious calls in serie A
Conte was pissed about it. Honestly the ref was pretty bad all around, i understand the frustration but inter weren't robbed by the ref

The main one would be the possible penalty on Sensi. On replay it looks more pen than not, but then again, replay doesn't give a good idea of the dynamic of the play. Not a scandal that it wasn't given
This thing has become old and stale, in recent years it's actually the opposite.
Go watch some Napoli games if you want to see babysitting.
Nah, Juve still get the rub of the green most of the time. Napoli do to, sure. Like every other big team everywhere really

Still, it's nothing like the Moggi era

You really think Liverpool went into yesterday's must win game without treating it like a must win game?

Quality of opponents in CL is on average higher than league. This is true of any league. That's all there is to it

English teams so far have had it tough, with the exception of City yesterday, and it was more a matter of them failing to score than Dinamo giving them trouble

Btw, Ajax result yesterday is very misleading. They were kinda lucky to win, nevermind 3-0

We really can't have another poor away performance in Europe. Win the next two and we should be through but if we lose on Wednesday I think we're in trouble.

Salzburg away will be a tough game to finish with.

A win tonight vs Lokomotiv and knockout stage is almost guaranteed, so expecting a good game with CR7 scoring.

Genk is playing some pretty dire stuff so far this season under their new coach. We should run over them and if we don't, it'll be our own fault and nothing else.

No good matches? Madrid away might be interesting only because Madrid aren't playing well and it might be a close contest... have no idea how Gala are these days.

Madrid game should be a good watch, the atmosphere in Turkey is always good.

No TAA or Matip for us. Alexander-Arnold has the sniffles & Matip has a boo-boo on his knee. Should be ok for Spurs.

You're at home and Red Star aren't good travelers.

I think you might get tonked at their place though.

How do you think Sunday will go?

We might sneak it, but the teams confidence is rock bottom. Red Star need only turn up with a bit of belief and tenacity, and they could get a result of some kind. Seriously.

You’ll win. I think we will probably copy United and go 5 at the back, wouldn’t mind going a bit experiential and trying Kane almost in an AM role behind Lucas/Son.. then just lump it in behind.

I originally thought it would be a huge defeat, and it probably still will be, but now I’m more expecting us to be just a bit limp and you winning comfortably. Got zero confidence whatsoever for anything resembling a positive result.

Get a grip!
I feel like you’ve said this to me every week and I’ve been right every week. We were going to beat Watford, remember?!

Losing to Colchester, shipping 7 at home, losing 3-0 to Brighton (should have been more) and scraping a lucky draw to bottom of the league. Why would I have any confidence in this team?!

Ok, the quality gap should be enough that we scrape through. But would I be shocked if they turn up with a bit about them and we wet ourselves? Nah.

Spurs under Poch are a dead team walking. We will do nothing of note till he is gone.

I actually went back and said it would be a draw at worse, I knew you weren't loosing that game. You've had some poor results yes but things can change quickly.

Atletico vs Bayer04 is a decent early kick-off.

We only drew because of a slightly dodgy goal caused by an error. Watford had the bulk of the chances to score, and should clearly have had a penalty.

Nothing will change under Poch, feel free to quote me on that. The team has lost faith and is sleep walking until the day we finally decide to part ways.

Also @FootyGirl88 I recall you saying to relax because Spurs will still win at first!

Not a criticism by the way. Even I, at the back of my mind, thought surely we are still capable of winning this. But we really weren’t, because this team is as broken as any Spurs side I’ve seen.

Damn, @SquishyMcSquish reading your posts gives me the feeling that Spurs are more in danger of relegation than Utd.

I’d like to hope that we would sack Poch if that became a real danger. But we are undoubtedly in relegation form and cannot win away from home to save our lives. An almost guaranteed loss at Anfield on Sunday will probably leave us bottom half.

This is what I'm saying, Spurs aren't going through our struggles!

Yeah that was my initial comment, then I said a draw at worse, I knew you guys weren't losing.

2? I'm sure it's 5

Anyway whats your prediction for your game? I think you'll win 2-0.

Oh yeah sorry .. 5 points. But it’s still not some huge gap, especially when you consider our trip to Anfield next week. And like I said you’ve had a number of key players out which we can’t point towards.

If I had to make a prediction, probably 3-1 or something to us. We likely will win, it’s just not something I have faith in or would put money on.

City’s game should have plenty of goals in it, and I think Atalanta will cause them problems defensively. I expect City will probably win a high scoring game, but we can hope their forwards are not on it at the Emptihad.

Madrid are a mess so who knows what will happen in Turkey. Tough place to go, but it wouldn’t surprise me if Real find a way to win.

Tottenham’s players seem more motivated to put themselves on show in the Champions League. Despite their drubbing against Bayern, they didn’t actually play anywhere near as badly as the scoreline suggested. Spurs should win tonight, but I won’t be betting any money on it.

Bayern/PSG/Juventus is my mug banker treble win.

What's up in London? The don't like football fans?

Frankfurt had some issues with the "fans" before so they were on probation but again a group of idiots misbehaved and that's the result.
About Belgrade there was sth similar I believe.
