Need to rest a lot of the main boys after yesterday, they ran their socks off, I would go with something like:

    Romero
Dalot Jones Tuanzebe (if fit) Williams
    Garner Matic Gomes
    Lingard/Mata Martial Chong

    Assuming Axel is fit again...

    Romero
    Tuanzebe - Maguire - Jones
    Dalot - Garner - Matic - Williams
    Gomes
    Martial - Greenwood
Be happy with this team. But McTominay for the injured Matic, and dont know if Tuanzebe will be fit either so maybe Lindelof.

Forget Lingard and Mata, get Greenwood in there, how did I forget Mason haha

Hope Greenwood and Williams start... is gomes injured ?

Dreading every fan saying we lost cos we didn't play 5 at the back... in a totally different game.

That said, I do wish we would try 2 up top
I thought your attack looked a lot more threatening with 2 speed merchants up front

No doubt we'll start Rashford again and he'll end up pulling up with another injury.

This is going to be a pretty crazy atmosphere i'd expect, will be interesting to see how the young guns handle it.

Zoran Tosic is playing there (again), didn't expect that.
    Also LFC legend Lazar Markovic.

I think sticking with yesterday's formation gets the best out if us. Can sure up the middle and the defence. Expect pogba to be on the bench and given the 3 young lads who've signed contracts recently they all should start, if rest AWB for Norwich though. Hoping Axel is back to get some minutes. Marital to start with Greenwood and Gomez behind as they've played together a lot. Could be interesting.

    Romero

    Tuanzabe Maguire Rojo

    Young Garner Matic Williams

    Greenwood Gomez

    Martial

Literally dont care about this match.

Play the kids and the players on the fringes.
    League is much more important

A game that should give the opportunity to the likes of Dalot,Gomes,Greenwood,Williams etc to start but Ole will likely see it as tricky away fixture with a hostile atmosphere and go with more experience than youth. So i would expect one of Lindelof or Maguire to keep their starting spot, fit again Phil Jones (who is as useful as an astray on a motorbike) will likely be given a start. Young if not starting will be brought on to shore things up (god help us)

Mata will start as will Matic if he's fit? Martial with probably get his first start since returning from injury.

Partizan i see recently beat Crvena Zvezda 2-0 at home, Crvena currently top the serbian league and are playing Spurs this week in the CL. Former United player Zoran Tosic scored their 2nd goal in that game.

Partizan also reached the group stage of the Europe league by knocking out Molde Ole's former side.

    Romero
    Lindelof---Jones--Rojo
    AWB--McTominay--Fred--Williams
    Mata
    Greenwood--Martial

subs: Grant, Young; Garner, Gomes, Chong; James, Rashford

I'd prefer Garner starting ahead of McTominay but I just don't see how that happens when he hasn't even had a sub appearance yet.

That's the spirit. Let's have low expectations eh?
    Id say realistic expectations.
It's the mentality of unrealistic expectations that blights the United fan base

If you have high expectations why so ?

Were not near CL level. Were not good enough for competing in the top 10 of the league. Never mind european elite

Fat people are not going to lose 5 stone in a week.

Its a process. Going to be a slow one too.

    Think we'll keep that formation?

Hope we do, but I think it was specifically used to deal with Liverpool.

I reckon it'll be back to the 4-2-3-1

4231: Romero, Dalot, Jones, Rojo, Williams; Fred, Garner; Greenwood, Mata, Chong; Martial.

If Tuanzebe fit I'd prefer him instead of either Jones or Rojo. Shaw to get a good 10 or 15 minutes at the end of the game.

You've got more chance of making CL through Europa than league surely as happened in 16/17?

Risk is if you throw the two aways then that will put huge pressure on you to win the two homes to get to 10 points. I really don't think you can just afford to dismiss europa, get to knock outs and then see what level of competition will be post January.

What's so important about the league then to just throw the EL, not getting relegated?

I think the 3412 might be the best thing for this game as well despite Partizan playing a 4231 mostly. With no Pogba, I think it makes sense to have three CB's good on the ball and play a no.10 as we can get a lot of width from the full backs and the split strikers when required. I'd like to see Dalot and Shaw get game time, but if one or none of them are fit then Williams could get a start. I'd also like to see a front two of Martial & Greenwood with maybe Mata behind. Gomes would be good but he and Chong seem to have fallen down the picking order (unless they got knocks as well) since they haven't been involved despite us having quite a few injury problems. The main two midfield players may have to stay the same as I think Matic is almost surely out. So, taking all of that into account, I think this is probably ideal as we do need an away win:

    Romero
    Lindelof Maguire Rojo
    Wan-Bissaka McTominay Fred Williams
    Mata
    Greenwood Martial
    ---
Grant; Jones, Shaw; Garner, Andreas, James; Rashford

Maybe Young will go this time for some experience due to injuries, maybe Gomes or Chong will go to rest the likes of Andreas/James for Premier League games. Will have to wait and see the travelling squad. Shaw will probably need a fitness test to decide whether to start or come off the bench.

Hope most of the starters are rested for this, last thing we need is another injury. Win the home games, should be good enough.

My mate and I were backpacking eastern Europe once and got on the wrong train into Belgrade.....it was full of Partizan firm members en route to play Red Star. Most uncomfortable 2hrs of my life. If there was no police presence on the train I fear we'd have been in serious trouble. There were some satanic eyes staring us down the entire journey. Any fans going to the Game being fecking careful!
