I've been a season ticket holder for the best part of 20 years and I've never heard racist comments at OT .

Ban him for life and release his name so he can be named and shamed.

No place for that at our club or anywhere.

In the 24 years I've been going I've only ever heard something racist twice

Once back in the 99/2000 when someone called (surprisingly) Dwight Yorke a racist term in conversation with his... And in the family stand no less, but I was too young to really say/do anything (at least I felt I was)

The other time was about 6/7 years ago against Spurs, where someone called their fans a bunch of fecking you know what's... That time i did turn around and say something to in the vain of "less of that" and the fella apologised and that was that. Looking back I probably should have reported it? I don't know, as I said he was apologetic, but is that enough.

Also worth saying as a brown person that I have never experienced anyone being racist towards me or my family/friends in Old Trafford.

Anyone who hears this vile shit first hand and doesn't report it can go feck themselves.

I don't give a shit what team you follow, a racist piece of shit is a racist piece of shit and should be booted out of the stadium and never allowed back.

Obertans #1 fan.
I saw some nobhead rip one of those 50/50 scarfs off an asian guy and scream "what the f*ck is that", all of his mates were laughing.

I'm pretty sure the guy was a tourist and wasn't harming anyone, some football fans are right bell ends.

Some football fans are bellends. Imagine thinking it is ok to have a 50/50 scarf

The most offensive chant on Sunday was "the Sun was right you're murderers". There would be a meltdown on here if they referenced Munich in any way.

Cant believe any United fan would sing that tbh.

The You'll never get a job chant isn't great either...

That Sun chant is also disgusting and warrants an ejection from Old Trafford and any other stadium. How sick to direct that against Liverpool and their fans regardless of the emotions generated by the rivalry.

The Park chant about eating dog is not what could be classified as racist in the actual sense - it`s an ethnic stereotype that was sung by fans to serenade one of their players. However, no doubt other ethnic stereotypes could certainly fall into the racist category.

Having lived in Korea before, I can tell you that Park probably didn`t mind the chant especially as he would know how not all but many in Korean society treat non Koreans. The `No Blacks` that comes out of the mouth of some staff at dance clubs and other clubs/bars, for example, is shameful. There are no laws against that.

I`ve also heard `No white guys, you steal our women` rubbish which is not as bad but still reflects an old fashioned ant-foreigner mentality there. I`m not a bloke and had no trouble in clubs or bars.

Adding `Nom` to a description of you as a non Korean person is also a disrespectful racist reality there.

They have sung Munich songs at us! Several times in the past, hell even last season in the same fixture.

Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus
I've never seen any racism and have been going to every game for over 10 years now. It's very good in that respect.

They only thing I would mention was when that 'Adebayor, your dad washes elephants...' chant was going around. I remember a guy near me singing it and he was sat next to a black guy who was laughing but I think felt a bit uncomfortable. They even shook hands at one point after the chant, which just made it more awkward.

I've heard it. I think it was against Edgar Davids if I remember right, that's how long ago it was. The guy wouldn't stop shouting racist shit. I was only a kid so assumed an adult would do something and it didn't take long for him to get ejected so someone must have reported it.

I'd report it in a heartbeat now.

As for the news reporting this...seems like they're jumping on United being in trouble to me and kicking us while we're down. People get reported for this shit all the time at grounds up and down the country.
I haven’t read the coverage but shouldn’t it be positive?

We kicked him out right away. A far cry from Liverpool and Chelsea’s responses over the years.

Never seen racism at OT, I’m Indian. Always felt very comfortable.

I must say though, the amount of ‘murderers’ and ‘the sun was right’ chants was a little uncomfortable.
Yeah 'The Sun was right' and the Heysel chants are awful, when it goes from '6 times, champions of Europe' vs '20 times Man United' to that kind of rubbish it really cheapens and sullies the whole occasion. One of the funniest points of the day was when they started chanting 'Fergie's right, the refs are shite' when they'd had two VAR decisions against them, but then some of our fans spoiled it with the Sun chant to the same tune.

I also saw one of their idiots doing plane gestures but honestly from what I heard it was United fans who were worse on Sunday. I suppose that's what some will stoop to when we have less footballing achievements to goad them with just at the moment.

The Lukaku chant was worse than the Park one.

And people still defend that . Theres something rotten that happens some people when they go to a football makes that makes them think these things are ok when they are clearly not.

Iv heard loads of abuse at Utd games over the years that would get you arrested if you said it outside the ground yet the morons think its fine to do it at a match often in front of children too

The only racist chant I've ever heard at OT was one directed at Adebayor about 10 years ago. Pretty scummy chant.

Indeed, I couldn't agree more, imagine wearing one of those 50/50 scarves...

Nonsense . Lukaku chant was racist the Park one too and from Andy Cole missing a chance to Pogba today iv heard Utd fans being racist towards them .

Then you have the Heysel and Hillsborough chants which some idiots think is ok because they once heard a munich chant from a liverpool fan

Even the Wenger chant was sick and moronic but Utd fans loved singing it

Try doing any of those things at your work or walking down the street and ask yourself why its not ok there but yet people think its fine at a football match

Did you actually read what I typed? I'll copy and paste it for you and bold to make it easier to understand.

I heard the Park chant and I don't consider it racist.

They have also defended Suarez with his racism against Evra, even wearing the t-shirts defending Suarez, and finally Carragher apologised to Evra yesterday on Sky Sports.

Maybe Dalglish will have the decency to apologise too ?

Yes I watched that last night on MNF, Evra is one entertaining/controversial character that's for sure. But it was good to see Carra accepting that Liverpool got it horribly wrong and apologising. But at the same time Liverpool probably didn't want to openly admit that Suarez had indeed been racist during that incident.

I agree with 99 percent of your post except about the Park chant. He comes from South Korea, most people in the world know very little about it except for K Pop among the younger generations and the tradition of eating dog meat. Some people still confuse North and South Korea.

A Japanese player might have a chant from his fans that mentions sushi as even those who know next to nothing about Japanese culture know this is associated with Japanese eating habits. Actually the Koreans have their own sushi called chobap and I think it`s much better than sushi.

While there are many Koreans who eat dog meat, some don`t but most except for those who understand the reality of how the dogs are tortured and in some cases those that end up in the meat markets are stolen pets, will proclaim that this is Korean culture, not just food.

The Park chant never was and never will be racist. A stereotype based on limited knowledge of Korean life so choosing one of the known food types, yes.

Nonsense, if they were in any way unsure about his intentions they wouldn't have worn the t-shirts. They backed him 100%.

I'd have much preferred Carragher to come out and say this straight after the incident rather than when he is working alongside Evra. Still, better late than never. Doubt Dalglish will be offering any kind of public statement on it now either.

I heard a few drunk Welsh lads chanting a sickening chant at the weekend on the tram referencing Hillsborough and the fans being crushed against a barrier... much worse than the usual ones even.

I got the impression they weren’t regular visitors to OT as they had to ask someone if the tram went to Old Trafford.

I remember most of Bishop Blaize was singing "that man is a paedo, his uncle is too" pointing at a pic of Frank Lampard before a match around the time his uncle was jailed for grooming a child. A section tried to start it off inside Old Trafford as well, but luckily they were quickly booed and it died down immediately. To make it worse; it wasn't even a match involving Lampard.

Not explicitly racist, but the Wenger "bag of sweets......." chat was pretty shameful
not racist in any way whatsoever, but yes it was one that I never joined in with and would have prefered wasnt sung at all

Have yet to hear any racism at OT in my years going,

but there was a lad used to sit behind me in the east stand for a few seasons used to give out some abuse to some of our own players (in particular Fellaini) , and the things he would say were just as bad as some racist comments, bang out of order (calling on your own players to die of various diseases etc) That lad pissed a fair few people off, glad he's now gone.

I was very disappointed with "The Sun was right" chants up behind me on Sunday. Im sorry, but if your singing that, then crying about them doing airplanes signs, your an absolute idiot

The worst I have heard was the Wenger-one - but that was just sick - not racist.

Under soil heating.
I got myself in the middle of a heated discussion last season where a bloke thought another had just shouted 'You black bastard!' at Lukaku. I ended up defending him because he shouted 'fat' and the other guy misheard him (I was sat 2 or 3 seats away).
