I've been binging a lot of shows over the last couple of years and I don't really know what to watch now. I don't want to start another show that is still ongoing, as I hate to binge a few seasons only to have to wait 6 months or more for the next season to start and on top of that having to wait a week for every episode.

I've watched most of the usual blockbuster shows so does anyone have any suggestions of something that maybe went a bit under the radar? Preferably in the crime/thriller genre.
I just started Fargo(for some reason haven't seen it yet), and it's brilliant so far. But I am just few episodes in.

The seasons are independent so it doesn't matter.
Oh I see! Well I'm off to downl....I mean sign up for whatever streaming service has it on offer then.

Edit: Just found out that the one streaming service I do have access to actually does have it. :wenger:

That does look interesting for sure but unfortunately it's not finished yet.

I didn't realise that every season is independent, but I read that it was pretty much finished after third season, so decided to watch it. I also avoid unfinished TV showd.

Thanks for the suggestion and info guys. Appreciate it!
I'll come back later and thank you/hate you depending on if I like it or not.

Enjoy, the first two seasons are great.

I couldn't get into the third.

A few crime shows I've recently enjoyed -

Netflix: The Break/La Treve, La Mante, You, Dirty John, Manhunt: Unabomber, Mindhunter
Prime: American Gothic, Absentia
BBC iPlayer: Spiral/Engrenages
My5: Accused

That's awesome. I'll definitely check them out once I'm done with Fargo.

Netflix putting stuff towards the top of their recommended viewings definitely works then. I'd never watched Fargo and started it a few days ago, then over the weekend I heard from two other people who had just started it and now you on here!

It's interesting initially but when I realized how many episodes there were I just couldn't stick with it. Becomes a drag pretty quickly unfortunately. One of those overly detailed documentaries.
Yeah once you realise that they are setting up plot lines just to deliver twists in a story you already know, it wears thin pretty quickly. It could've been an amazing 4 part series.

Anyone seen Money Heist on Netflix? Worth a watch?
Yeah, Neymar is brilliant in it (well, he only has a few horrible scenes, but he's seriously in it).

I found it enjoyable, although the acting is not great and the plot is ridiculous sometimes.

It starts off kinda fun for a while but gets progressively more and more shite, to the point where you'd rather gouge out your own eye-balls than watch one more second

Well, I watched the first episode and it seemed decent enough but with three people here saying it gets worse and worse I'm expecting to drop it soon.

It's a strange way to start it, with the actual heist happening.

I really struggle to find anything genuinely interesting, good or original on Netflix. Even their 'classic' stuff (like famous comedy series) will have been watched to death previously by any fan of those shows.

Russian Doll was quite good, albeit borrowing heavily from Groundhog Day.
Ozark is good too.

I've heard pretty good things about Living with Yourself.

Ozark is one of those shows I really enjoy when I'm watching but when the new season rolls around I've completely forgotten what happened in the entire previous one.

Cheers, guys, but even though Netflix is cheap I feel it's virtually a waste of money. Maybe I'm too picky.

Some good films on there too, especially as you seem to watch them about 10 years after their release :p

Yes that's true  even happens if I leave too long between watching 2 episodes, I dont feel compelled to go back, even though I think it's very good when I'm actually watching

There have been a few good shows released in the last few weeks on Netflix.
Unbelievable, Marianne, Undone, Living with yourself are all worth watching

Yep, I'm rubbish. Apologies, Netflix.
