If your attacking midfielder options are Mata and Lingard then you can’t really turn your nose up at Ozil.

A 6 month loan wouldn’t be a bad move.

You obviously can. It's not like there aren't other footballers out there and he's the only one available.

I used to really like Ozil but signing footballers who are past it, on big wages is not really what we need.

Of course you can. He's rubbish now.

Imagine us having both Pogba and Ozil in midfield. A terrifying thought.

Respect Scholes, but seems like all ex United players have gone insane with their ideas about revival of the club.
The best thing United can do is stop taking their advice, fire the entire coaching staff including Ole and Carrick and appoint competent, experienced people who can implement a philosophy and take united in a positive direction like our two arch rivals.
Sadly can't see Woodward doing that because he is very much part of the rot.
