Instant upgrade on anyone in our midfield, bar Pogba, and feel he's partner the Frenchman well with Scott sat between them. Also add extra much needed creativity in the middle until summer. Was excellent for Croatia last year with Modric.

Hope we avoid him, doubt he has any actual desire to come here and we’ve supposedly learnt from previous errors.

Don’t like idea of buying him or Mandzukic as it will just mean we will delay resolving those problems for a year or two. If we rebuilding don’t see point in bringing in players who have to think about replacing in a year.
