Rumors started to emerge the past few days that PSG will sign him on a permanent deal. Seeing as Cavani will leave in June, maybe Mbappe and maybe Neymar too
Cavani yes, Neymar i can see as well, but Mbappe? Surely not

He's only on loan? ... Or is there an option to buy as well
70m option to buy at the end of the season which, barring any unforseen issues, PSG will definitely activate as they've essentially found their Cavani replacement.

I know this signing is bit tricky but looks like he is the real deal.

He scores all types of goals and we will have someone in our hands who can lead our line for next 10 years if he find his feet in Manchester.

These kind of players need that extra love and UTD fans can always provide that (Cantona for example) so he can become out cult hero.

I think Inter can get rid of him for Alexis+40Mil, worth taking a punt ?

I've always been a fan. We just have to make sure his missus gets on the wrong flight.

Manchester would be poison for Wanda's insta-feed. Can you imagine her posing with her bum up in the sky with rain pouring down on it? No.

Icardi and Wanda need to take something really strong to ditch life style of Paris and join Man Utd in the summer.

Missed a big opportunity to sing him in the summer as part of the Lukaku deal. He won't be leaving PSG.

PSG has a 65M option even if it seems Icardi has to agree to the move. Inter doesn't really have a say in the story.

Still Im not enterely sold on him, he's problematic for the dressing room there's a reason why he's vetoed from the argentinian national team and why he lost the captaincy and was sidelined in Inter.

Besides he's a good goalscorer but offers nothing more, wouldnt work in our system where he needs service to convert chances and we struggle like hell to create those.

He's vetoed from the Argentinian national team because he took Maxi Lopez's wife. And Maxi Lopez is a good friend of Messi. And if Messi doesn't like you, you don't play for Argentina.

At Inter the situation was very complicated, but the sure think is Wanda didn't help at all.

Fortunately so far, we have nothing to complain about with PSG, he seems to get along very well with all the teamates (including Di Maria) and Wanda has yet to cause a scene.

Yeah that little thing about shagging your teammates wife sometimes can cause trouble in the dressing room, not all players are open about it.

God no. Beef with teammates, threatening to kill his own fans. He's exactly the kind of player we don't need. Fergie never would have signed him in a million years. Ferguson's success was built on finding quality players with the right attitude. Personality played a huge part in whether SAF signed someone or not. That right attitude part is something the club has been neglecting recently, but Ole seems to be bringing back. We don't need Icardi anywhere near this club. Not to mention his wife who loves to talk shit to the press.

I doubt Ole would have any interest in Icardi. He's not a troubled teenager who can be set straight with the right guidance, he's just a twat.

He is not going to cause any trouble in PSG because everyone knows PSG is not a club you can mess with. Barcelona knew it the first hand, so does Verratti and Neymar. The players there know well enough no matter how much they want to leave they won't go on strike to force the leave, because it will never work.

Icardi never caused any trouble in the dressing room, he was unfit as captain but the cause of the problems was Wanda.

Also he's not frozen out from Argentina, he's just never played well for them

Icardi is on loan, it's not about leaving or not, he can leave at the end of the season if he wants to since it seems that surprisingly, he has to agree to the final move.

Turning down Icardi and Dybala out of some kind of moral righteousness and a bid not to tarnish the image of the club last summer was one of the dumbest things we've done.

Too much importance is placed on intangibles like character or attitude.

given we're now being linked with the likes of Josh fecking King, then yeah, i'd say we fecked up royally not using him as part of the Lukaku deal.

Could icardi be the one for United? PSG has probably torn down his rental contract. And will he stay in Inter or will Inter retain him or sell him? I Think he could be good at the atack for United

We getting rid of cnuts, why adding more.

Getting Icardi alone is fine, but bringing his stupid wife along is just disaster for any club.

Dybala didn't want to come. Icardi is not they type of striker Ole wants

Seems PSG still want to sign him permanently (54m). I thought they dumped him for breaching lockdown?

Interesting considering things started to go sour towards the end. Guess it just shows you how depleted the strikers market is. Icardi is one of the better no.9’s on the market, but PSGs hand was kind of almost forced with the little options and Cavani set to leave.

One of the shadiest deal in football. How can a problematic footballer gets that kind of deal?

Shady in what sense 50+7 is low for a guy like him. Apparently the original deal was 70m at the end of the loan. Put aside his reputation he is still a good striker. It's not like Balotelli who causes trouble without making a big impact on the field.

They let go of Cavani, who wanted to stay, but he's sadly not the same player and his health is extremely questionable. I wouldn't go after Cavani at the moment. Icardi was extremely efficient and then lost steam for a multitude of reasons, but I believe he will get back to his best with a full pre-season (hopefully, let's see) and without Cavani on the team anymore.

It's good that PSG were able to re-negotiate the terms of the loan given what's happened with COVID-19, I suspect it might shape up the market for the next few months or maybe it's just a one-off, it's definitely great value for a player of his calibre.

Eh?

He scored 12 goals in 20 league matches and 5 goals in 6 CL games. He also has 124 goals in 219 matches for Inter.

‘Shadiest deal’ It’s not quite Bebe levels.

I think so too, the guy is an absolute gunslinger. Allergic to touching the ball outside the box, though.
