At Inter the situation was very complicated, but the sure think is Wanda didn't help at all.

He is not going to cause any trouble in PSG because everyone knows PSG is not a club you can mess with. Barcelona knew it the first hand, so does Verratti and Neymar. The players there know well enough no matter how much they want to leave they won't go on strike to force the leave, because it will never work.

Turning down Icardi and Dybala out of some kind of moral righteousness and a bid not to tarnish the image of the club last summer was one of the dumbest things we've done.

Interesting considering things started to go sour towards the end. Guess it just shows you how depleted the strikers market is. Icardi is one of the better no.9’s on the market, but PSGs hand was kind of almost forced with the little options and Cavani set to leave.

Shady in what sense 50+7 is low for a guy like him. Apparently the original deal was 70m at the end of the loan. Put aside his reputation he is still a good striker. It's not like Balotelli who causes trouble without making a big impact on the field.
They let go of Cavani, who wanted to stay, but he's sadly not the same player and his health is extremely questionable. I wouldn't go after Cavani at the moment. Icardi was extremely efficient and then lost steam for a multitude of reasons, but I believe he will get back to his best with a full pre-season (hopefully, let's see) and without Cavani on the team anymore.
It's good that PSG were able to re-negotiate the terms of the loan given what's happened with COVID-19, I suspect it might shape up the market for the next few months or maybe it's just a one-off, it's definitely great value for a player of his calibre.
