Have 0.5m to upgrade the keeper as Roberts for 4.4 at west ham was a disaster with two "easy" homes.

Wish id gone Gazzaniga but his two games looked harder!!

57 points all out which is below the 10k avg. :(

Pep and his 1 min Otamendi cameo cost 13 points as Soyuncu stayed on the bench

After GW 12, Aubameyang has Southampton, Norwich, Brighton and West Ham. Might take Sterling out for him.

Made a mistake and had Söyüncü on the bench. Still got 71 points, so can’t be too disappointed.

That week where Otamendi comes on in the 92nd minute and Lundstram was on your bench :nervous:

Who were your starting defenders to leave one of the top 3 point scoring defenders (now top) at home to burnley out?!

Wonderful week. 80 points, mainly owing to Soyuncu and Lundstram but also good rallies from Dunk and TAA. My defence got me spoiled. I probably picked the best weekend possible to play bench boost as I got whopping 23 points off my bench!

Not sure whether get rid of Digne right now or hold on until after the next 2 Game weeks (Southampton, Norwich). So far he has been very poor and Lost 0.3 in value since I got him. Don't want him to drop more in value and he is really expensive for his poor point return, on the other hand those fixtures he has are tempting.

Thoughts?

Pereira, TAA and Otamendi. Expected Otamendi to start and clean sheet. Still, 58 points this week so can't complain.

My big spending midfield of Dd Brunye, Sterling and Mane put to shame by Montoya, Lundstram and Soyuncu at the back!

Don't see Ake mentioned much but he is worth considering? Had him at the start but he did nothing til gw6 and has been very consistent since.
Other option is the cheaper Rico.

Already have this issue of having to put one defender on bench and not having any idea who. Willems at home to Bournemouth, TAA, Soyuncu at home to Arsenal and Lundstram away to Spurs. I should know better than to bench Lundstram but Spurs away is a tough game. Then again he’s very good offensively so even if they concede, he may contribute. Dunk I’ll bench in hope of United scoring against them.

Mount, Sterling, KDB and Martial to play in midfield, James on the bench. All three forwards (Vardy, Rashford and Abraham) to play and it will be the case most weeks.

Made changes hot on the heels of the games yesterday to avoid price fluctuations.

Soyuncu, Tielemans and Vardy in.
Webster, Mount and Aguero out.

Very frustrating with Aguero. If you knew he’d play every week, he’d be a set and forget captain. But to have a 12+ mil player in your team and be sweating to see if he’s going to start isn’t feasible.
If you haven’t yet, it’s time to get Leicester players in people.

In the next few game weeks, the plan is to go to a 343 or 433.

Squad:

Pope
Tomori Soyuncu Lundstrum Pieters
Mane Sterling De Bruyne Tielemans
Vardy(C) Abraham(VC)

Subs: Button Cantwell Greenwood Kelly
Bank: 2.7mil

Appreciate any thoughts and suggestions, guys and gal

First good week since week 1.

88 points and even had 20 on the bench so could have been even better.

Simple transfer this week, Kane in and Aubi out ( as long as Kane is fit ), which will mean i have 11 players with home fixtures.

Just hope City and Liverpool play out a dour 0-0 :)

First good week in a while with 73.

I should have captained Abraham rather than Aubamayang but I don't think I even logged in this week.

I'd been toying with the idea of replacing Salah with Mane and upgrading elsewhere. Deffo gonna bite the bullet on that now.

Edit: Just saw the price increase. Really shoud have done that two weeks ago.

I think I'm gonna have to ditch Sterling or KDB for Mane/Salah after the City game. That game could go either way so no point taking a hit for it this week.

City at home to Chelsea might not be the week to do it either after remembering what Aguero did last season. Chelsea not the most solid side at the back either. Liverpool away at Palace that week won't be a walk over for them.

With that in mind it'll be Mane or Salah in GW14 for the armband until GW17 when they blank. Nice run of games vs Brighton, Everton, Bournemouth & Watford. 3 of them at home too.

Is there a more obvious captain than Vardy against Arsenal next week? He has to score.

Have both sterling & KDB but they’re not living up to the price tag. Mane will have to be introduced again soon.

I'm also on the bandwagon of only having 1 City player. Is Jimenez enough of a differential at 11.5% ownership ? Grealish at only 4.3% is amazing to me, definitely coming in.

Any others who got ultimately shafted by Otamendi's 1 minute substitution, and lost 14 points of Soyuncu not being auto-subbed in?

Pep

Yeah man. Hurts. I mean ultimately I should've benched Ottamendi. I kind of expected him not to start so that's on me. Just didn't expect to see him come on for a minute at the end. Typical that this was the week Soy got a goal. He looked like a 6 pointer at best.

Not sure what to do about Son. Will his red get rescinded?

I’m 0.1 off getting ads Bryune if I sell him, so that ain’t happening. I have Mane, Tielmans, Sterling and Cantwell as other midfielders.

Any tips who to go for? Looking at James/Martial maybe but I don’t like having United players in.

Pick a name out of a hat.
I did exactly that and picked Abraham. Happy with that! All my options returned pretty well except KdB which was great.

96 points, lovely stuff.

Tempted to double up on Leicester defence? Bring in Soyuncu for Lewis Dunk - together with Chillwell.

I know what you mean but I'd probably plump for Martial, or Pulisic who looks to be finding his feet in the PL now.

Could downgrade Cantwell and get KdB for a hit?

Or get Maddison/Mount?

Nice! I have Chilwell. Seems more of a threat than Soyuncu. Tempted to bring a Bournemouth defender in with him.

Crazy to take Abraham out ? I need to make up some ground and everyone's got him.

Sterling > Grealish
Greenwood > Jimenez
Abraham > Auba

Pope
Soyuncu Lundstram Robertson
Mane KDB Grealish Mount
Vardy Jimenez Aubameyang

1.5m in the bank.

Surely McGinn is a better bet than Grealish? Sounds like you've got the money in the bank to get Maddison though if you wanted to. A Leicester triple up wouldn't worry me with their run.

My logic exactly. In hindsight it makes it obvious.

Based on what?
Top 4 teams all playing pretty weak opponents, plus Sheff Utd and Burnley which I though would be 0-0. Brighton and West Ham also had kind fixtures on paper. So my team of Henderson, Robertson, Otamendi, Ricardo, Mount, Yarmolenko, KdB, Mane, Maddison, Abraham, Wilson plus bench boost of Pope, Maupay, Lundstram and Dunk had 15 starters in potentially good fixtures..

Jammily swapped Otamendi out for Mendy on Saturday morning. Just as well he stayed on the bench to secure 21 points from Lundstram making it off mine.

Both the same price and both effective. Most of Villas play goes through Grealish but McGinn is very good as well as a goal threat. But McGinn is owned twice as much. Rather not go triple Leicester.

How's this for a ballsy move. Sterling > Maddison. Soyuncu > Trent

Pope
TAA Lundstram Robertson
Grealish KDB Mane Mount Maddison
Vary Abraham

2.6m bank!

Would have to take Trent/Robbo out for GW18 but their run of fixtures look tasty before then.
