Why Ronaldo isn't losing a bit of is muscular body to gain back a bit of speed and agility?

Otherwise it's useless to play him with this age as LW.
That’s exactly what he’s done. He is visibly leaner these days than a few years ago.

His muscular body (he isn’t muscular so much as ripped) is the reason for his speed and agility, there’s not a shred on him that isn’t there deliberately to maximise his best qualities as a footballer. Losing a bit of muscle at his age is the issue.

After the excellent summer window I thought Juventus would be much better than this

Douglas Costa is feckin mint when he is on form, and injury free. So, so rapid - just glides over the pitch. Nice flick from Pipita as well, been good this season.

Juventus are like Liverpool. Even when they're rubbish, you just know they'll find a way to win.

Wouldn’t bet against Juve going all the way. No matter how shit they are, they never loose.

Finally an attacking lineup

Now they'll probably lose and he'll never try it again

siiiiiiiuuuuu  you can’t do much physically against such imposing feckers so you need magic midgets like douglas & paulino... that said we are through, see you in late Feb with this nerve cracking competition

He's one of those players who would probably be one of the best in the world if not always on the treatment table. The guy is almost unplayable when he's fit and on form...just that he's rarely ever fit.

They have the same problem as barcelona....terrible coaches

quality is there, also depth and hopefully more courage from now on, so again they just need a bit of a luck with matchups and injuries round after round... allegri surely had the ability to step up their game, sarri who knows yet.

I keep hearing great things about this Atlanta side but I don't see it. Not playing in their own ground obviously doesn't help but I don't get the hype with teams that concede goals easily and bottle 3 goal leads in 20 mins to Lazio.

City do seem to be more up for the CL rather than the PL this season.

I don't get why Conte has been so crap in Europe with all his teams. Juve, Chelsea and Inter, they all struggled big time with him in charge in European competitions (even Europe League with Juve at one point) while he does great in leagues.
First season with juve they reached the QF before being smashed by the all conquering bayern side

Second season yeah, was a proper disaster. Though it wasn't so much the performances, they dominated most of their games, actually outplayed us home and away in the group and probably deserved more than 1 point from the two games. Just a ridiculous sequence of bonkers individual mistakes, some bad luck(at the bernabeu, the penalty of 2-1 was arguable to say the least, then the snowstorm in istanbul), and truly horrifying finishing. Was pretty much the same story in EL as well. Reached the SF, played gave up two easy goals to benfica, dominated the game and kept missing chances. Then couldn't break down the parked bus at home second leg

At chelsea he did fine i think. And he's not doing badly at inter either. Barcelona and Dortmund may have their problems but they have more talent than inter. Yesterday they run out of gas in the second half. Too many games with short rest, injuries and a thin squad. Lack of the injured Asamoah yesterday was the killer as Biraghi doesn't have the level for inter and the CL
