Diego Costa got his team to a CL final. Aguero has been underwhelming in the CL too. Suarez won a CL scoring goals left and right in big games. Kane has been underwhelming too. Benzema won 4 CL's, you kidding me?
How ridiculous are his numbers this year yet again. You look at his record in Bundesliga and CL and it's unreal. I am more and more inclined to say he's arguably the best striker of his era, perhaps above Suarez and Zlatan.
Imagine having a striker who's got 23 goals in November in a massively underperforming team. Injuries permitting, he's on course to easily beat his record that he got under Guardiola in 15/16 which will be fecking sick. He's had 42 in 51 then, 30 in the league alone.
Atletico made the CL finals in 2014 a year after Lewandoski led Dortmund to the CL finals.
In 2014 when Atletico made the final, Diego Costa scored a total of 1 goal from the quarter semi and finals. 1 penalty it was. While Lewandoski scored 5 goals between the quarters and final to take Dortmund to the final a year earlier
Since that time both got to the final, Costa has scored a total of 3 CL goals in the past 5 yrs while Lewandoski has scored 48 CL goals. In the past 4 seasons Suarez has scored 7 CL goals
Madrid won 4 CL because of Ronaldo and not once was Benzema the top scorer for his team. If Lewandoski also had Ronaldo in his team he could have won 4
Once again mention a big game performance for Diego Costa, Aguero Suarez in the CL
4:15 for his goal and 6:35 for his goals and assist respectively. He's never been a dribbler but seems to have somewhat improved his aspect of his game. Been on absolute fire yesterday.

Not marketable enough. He tried improving that once when he did his dyed his hair to pussy-blonde, didn't work. 27 goals in 20 games this season though.

The only similar thing I've seen was when Ronaldo had 25 in 15 midway through november 4 years ago. 6 in 10 games in the CL and at this rate against olympiakos he's gonna have like 15 in the group stages.
He's having the season of his life and well deservedly too. Has team service and he's being world class finishing up the plays. Between his numbers and watching Juve create absolutely nothing in attack, I'm feeling absolutely nostalgic for those Ronaldo days right now.

As ridiculous as it sounds, he was actually quite wasteful throughout large parts of the last season. He underperformed really badly in terms of xG, I believe only Suarez was worse than him among top strikers. If he had been in this unreal form during the whole year, he definitely would be top 5 in the Ballon D'Or voting.
Steller season but we're yet to see if he carries his team to victory in the later rounds of CL. He usually chokes
That's not really true, he's scored goals in semi finals in the champions leagues in 4 seasons. His goals carried Bayern as far as they could go last season, them losing to Liverpool wasn't because Lewy choked. The only poor by his standard season he had was in 17/18.
He's scored 70 goals in the CL in 109 games. The man is incredible.
His record in the group stages is spectacular there's no doubt about that. Still leaved alot to be desired in the crucial moments for Bayern though. They haven't reached a final with him leading the line
He's also a super humble, family man taking great care of himself. He'd be a perfect United striker, wish we'd gone all out for him in Fergie's last year.

Last season Liverpool won the CL, Salah scored 2 goals in the knockout games. 1 of them a penalty in the final. If Salah was their main goal outlet, I doubt they would have won last season

Yep, comparing Salah's and Lewandowski's contributions in the later stages of the CL like this is a bit shortsighted. Defense won Liverpool that trophy, and will be the decisive factor if they win the league this season. No doubt Lewandowski would also do extremely well in this Liverpool team.
He scored goals in the last 16, quarter finals and semi final in 2015, and I'd be looking far more at a certain Pep Guardiola than I would be Lewy if you want to point fingers as to why Bayern 'choked' that season. He scored goals in the last 16 and semi finals the year after too, and yep, I'd be looking at the coach (that Guardiola fella) before Lewy again that season too. The one bad season he had was the season after.
What I'm saying is, he isn't the reason Bayern didn't get to finals, part of it? Maybe, but theres so many factors, and he's not close to the top of the reasons why.
And his goals also of course did very much help Borussia Dortmund get to the final in 2013.
He doesn't need to prove a whole lot more to anyone.
Best CF in world football at the moment. I think he'll work into any team at the moment.
39 goals and 5 assists in 33 matches/2870 minutes. 25 in the league, 11 in the CL and 3 in the cup. He scored or assist in all but 4 games. His has always been top class, but this season he found another gear. Top 2 in the world at the moment.
He was blooming amazing last night. Everything you would want from a forward.
