To rile and frustrate your opponent, causing them to get impatient and in turn rush a style of play they might not necessarily do. Make mistakes easier etc. I do it also to take a breather before kicking off aswell as games can get quite intense rage wise

Always show them to the edge of the box and don’t let them square it - you have to select the centre back and always assume thats what he’s going to do. Then invest in some big solid defenders (i have scream Pique and Ramos). And like you say, you can’t just be the cdm but i would still try most of the time if the opposition is passing around my box waiting for me to commit. Just sprint jockey around covering the passing lanes and if he passes to someone between you and the centre back just try and cover the inevitable pass again with either the CB or CDM still.
Even then i let in a bucket load but much better than i used to be

I had a rotten weekend!I don’t mind them personally. Least you dont have button delay with it. Just pass it around patiently and do the Legendary objectives using the awful rated and low chem teams. World class is just about patient play unfortunately. You won’t win them all.

Awesome stuff. Theres so many players out there that are just great at getting a free pass in the box no matter how deep you defend. Ive been asking opponents what their divisions are in rivals and quite a few times they’ve been in a division or two higher.

You are much better off closing the winger/attacker down at the angle covering the pass back across into the box. Doing this gives them a chance to shoot, but believe me they want to pass it back 99% of the time until its literally an open goal.

I’m in the upper echelon of Division 3 at the moment, far from a top player but I’ve had good success with the 433 (4) and occasionally the 4411. The latter is a little more stable; however, the 433 gives you much more punch going forward. Personally, I think wingers are very important this year, with the ‘tactic’ of getting down the line and cutting across the box being ultra effective.
All the good players relegating themselves for easier matches in order to complete the icon objectives.

Yeh they are just taking the loss hit. My mate was in div 4 and he lost 8 games in a row and has ended up in division 6 (because he was getting beat by the good players dropping down leagues intentionally). Its shit mate, but this is EA’s doing leaving it open to manipulation. Maybe divisions/ranks should be locked for 4 weeks to stop stuff like this happening.
On an 8 game lost streak. Did anyone ever watch the Flinstones movie where they go to Vegas and Fred was on a winning streak, only for the manager to flip a switch and lose every time. That's me right now. I swear I would give some one €500 if they could beat me fairly. No rebounds, no luck, no glitch. Just score ONE Bas***d goal by your damn self. Every goal I've conceded. Keeper caught it, bounced off his hand into the net. players passed it perfect to his and he scores. So when he shoot straight at my keeper, it bounces under him and goes in. Meanwhile I try everything possible and yet the ball wont go in, the players take too long to shoot, the keeper saves everything, every fumble goes straight to him. I'm beyond pissed trying to get ONE F***ing win with these stupid objectives.
Yeah I'm gonna not play for a little while. The worse part about all this is that I know for sure that I'm better then the players I lost to tonight. They didn't even create the chances themselves. The chances just happened upon them, like oh ok then, thanks for that. Infuriating

I matched 2 last night, full bronze and I know they are gonna quit, so why not score an og and help someone out along the way? Makes no difference what so ever, you getting the loss anyway
