Feel like FUT is unplayable for me. Pretty much every other game I play I get disconnected at the end of the game (only if I win though). Whether it's squad battles or rivals, the game finishes but then I never get to the screen where it says the game is finished, and the only way to quit is to disconnect and reconnect. So frustrating. Trying to do these icon swap challenges and it's taking forever because every other game is a disconnect.

Devastated by the Icon Swaps. I stupidly presumed the second batch of challenges would be as easy as the first lot.
I wanted Rio but got impatient after the first batch, took Pep and presumed I could also get Rio anyway. Not sure now if he's worth the grind / if he's even possible on the Rivals challenges. The Prem and 11 first owned was easy, now trying the others and it's very tough going!
The Squad battle objectives are pretty easy so I might just do them and just get Carlos. Nesta looks ok but I have scream Pique so think Nesta / Pique might be too slow?

Just relegate yourself down a few divisions. Makes rival challenges much easier.
Even if you do that, I imagine it's not that easy to get back up though surely? I haven't played rivals for the last couple of weeks (Apart from to start trying these objectives) as I've started doing the weekend league which gets you enough rivals points for Rank 2 anyway.
I'm in Div 5 at the moment so I'm hardly be a world beater anyway, even if I went down to Div 7 or 8?

Got Rio this morning. Now the grind for the next 8 starts. Completed Mexican league SB, Prem, 11 1st owned and ligue 1 so far.
My UCL team and Brazil teams are not the strongest so they will be tough but happy enough with my la liga, bundesliga & serie a teams.

Assist three goals in three rival wins using Swiss players. Trying to do that in div 4 was a nightmare.
I had a shocking WL as I had to cram my games in so RQ loads of them, only finished silver 1. Telles was my pick though and he replaced his NIF in my team. Very happy with him.
Shaqiri in a prem team should have made that easy, he's ridiculous.
Never thought I’d say this but Champs has been pretty enjoyable so far. 6-0, scoring with ease and the connection/responsiveness has been perfect.
A welcome break from Rivals, which is comfortably the worst game mode in FUT right now.

Somehow my career mode started working again. So I renew Matic's contract as there's 6 months left and I'd like to make some money from him, he accepts, then Wolves offer him a contract and he accepts and fecks off there

I've noticed this as well. When I've got the ball it's like my players would rather mark the opposition than move into space to receive it. I've got my tactics set to possession too.

I was 13-0 but I lost my last 2 so I'm gonna stop for today before it gets any worse. Had a few laggy games in the middle but mostly it's been good gameplay so far.

That was a good start, man! Once you start to string a few wins together, you can really feel the squeeze from your opponent - You get into that weird ‘At All Costs’ FIFA zone, where all your opponent wants to do is smash you, celebrate vigorously and make you watch the replays. I have thought about pushing it to 30 games before just to see where I could take it; however, every time I do I just realise I’m too damn busy with work/have other interests that I enjoy, particularly at the weekends! Perhaps some day I will though, just out of interest.. and some of the top tier players will quickly show me why 14 wins is a nice, comfortable zone for me each week!
Now that you’ve planted that seed, we’ll probably get matched together in a match I need to win to secure Elite and you’ll proceed to batter me What a cruel twist of fate that would be!

I have thought about pushing it to 30 games before just to see where I could take it; however, every time I do I just realise I’m too damn busy with work/have other interests that I enjoy, particularly at the weekends! Perhaps some day I will though, just out of interest.. and some of the top tier players will quickly show me why 14 wins is a nice, comfortable zone for me each week!

What a cruel twist of fate that would be!14-2 so far, lost to a top 100 player and my other loss was when my keeper (instead of coming out when I pressed Y) decided to move out of the way for 2 goals. Never seen anything like it. Still hopeful of elite 1 if I have time to finish my games tomorrow.
How is the Pep card? I'm only doing the offline challenges so looking at getting Pep.

Game felt unplayable for me this weekend. Every player was sluggish and slow like they’re running through honey even on 99 fitness, also still don’t know how to defend so 1 guy scored the same goal with Salah against me 3 times by just shifting onto his left in the box and I can’t get near him.

EL SBC Mbabu (Not played enough but feels better than an 81 and a lot more agile than his 77 card)
Akanji (good but weak link against really good players)
Varane (a monster, just behind VVD for me as best CB in game)
Jordi Alba (Best LB ive used this year)
85 Guardiola SBC (set to always stay back, awesome in the tackle and great for interceptions, offers little in attack, got him for free so cant complain)
Witsel (Solid. Can do a bit of anything)
Vidal (deadly in game as a box to box but he's my cam and he lacks creativity, would like a top CAM to replace)
Dembele (Ridiculous card. Love him)
Griezmann (So good. Throw hunter on him and he's one of the best in game)
Sancho (Underwhelming for a long time but I enjoy using him now)

I made it to 14 wins and have 4 games left for later tonight to try and get gold 2 for the 3rd week running. Not sure about you but everyone seems to have a lot stronger team this week. I got dicked by Red Messi too which stung I doubt I'd have much chance against you to be honest! You'd destroy me and I'd claim I was being nice!What's Drogba like? I'm hoping to get the last of the icon swaps this week and initially wanted Rio but unsure now that I have Scream Pique. Gerrard looks like he'd fit my team but not sure I'd be comfortably getting him!
In career mode the menus keep taking about 20 seconds to actually load up for some reason. EA are so shit.
